Larry Shaw BST Nebraska Series concludes September 5 at I-80

GREENWOOD, Neb. – I-80 Speedway hosts the sixth and final event in the Larry Shaw Racing Blood, Sweat and Tears Nebraska Series this Sunday, Sept. 5.
The IMCA Modified main event pays $1,500 to win and is a qualifying race for the 2011 Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot. A $1,000 trophy dash is also on the evening’s card.
David Murray Jr. looks to complete his sweep of tour events in the finale at Greenwood. His five previous checkers include the Charlie Clark Memorial checkers there in June.
A pro-rated bonus of 75 percent (eight events must be held for full bonuses to be awarded) will be applied to the average car count for the series.
Pit gates open at 3:30 p.m. with racing at approximately 6 p.m. Admission is $10 for adults, $5 for students ages 6-15 and free for youngsters five and under. Pit passes are $25.
