RACEceivers required for Modified drivers at Super Nationals
BOONE, Iowa – All Modified drivers competing at the upcoming IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals will be required to do so with a RACEceiver.
Drivers who do not own their own one-way radio receiver can rent one for $20 for the duration of Modified qualifying Sept. 8-11 at the JR Motorsports parts trailer, in the pit area at Boone Speedway.
A $50 deposit will be refunded when the RACEceiver is returned in good, working condition.
Ear pieces can be purchased but not rented at the speedway for use in the RACEceiver. Drivers who already own an ear piece – an iPod ear piece for example – can use it with the RACEceiver.
Frequency to be used during qualifying and the main event will be announced at drivers’ meetings.
