Upper Midwest Sprint Car Series traveling to Kopellah, Arlington
ST. CROIX FALLS, Wis. (July 29) – Another weekend doubleheader is in the works for the Upper Midwest Sprint Car Series.
The UMSS travels to Kopellah Speedway in St. Croix Falls, Wis., for a Friday, July 30 show, then to Arlington, Minn., Raceway on Saturday, July 31.
Brad Barickman now owns four tour wins and takes the series point lead to Kopellah, where pit gates and the grandstand both open at 5 p.m., hot laps follow the 6:15 p.m. drivers’ meeting and racing starts at 7 p.m.
Grandstand admission is $12 for adults, $10 for fans 55 and older, $5 for students and free for 12 and under.
Arlington opens the gates at 3 p.m. and the grandstand at 5 p.m. Hot laps are at 6 p.m. and racing starts at 7 p.m. Go-kart heats start at 4 p.m. The Sprint Car feature interrupted by rain on July 5 will be completed. IMCA Modifieds, IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars, IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks and Mach-1 Sport Compacts are also on the evening’s race card.
Spectator admission is $12 for adults, $5 for kids ages 6-12 and free for five and under.

Pit passes are $25 both nights.
Dave Becker, Chris Graf, Jimmy Kouba, Bill Johnson, Jerry Richert Jr. and Scotty Thiel have each won once on the UMSS circuit this season.
The series is at Ogilvie, Minn., Raceway on Aug. 7 before returning to Kopellah and Arlington for another dou bleheader on Aug. 13-14.
