Spring Kick-Off set this weekend at Kennedale Speedway Park

KENNEDALE, Texas – IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Cars race for $1,000 to win on opening night of the Feb. 25-26 Spring Kick-Off special at Kennedale Speedway Park.

Saturday’s main event for the Sprints pays a minimum of $150 to start.

Running Saturday and Sunday nights are IMCA Modifieds for $500 to win and $75 to start and both IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars and Scoggin-Dickey Parts Center Southern SportMods for $400 to win and $60 to start.

IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National, Modified and Stock Car regional and Allstar Performance State points will be awarded.

Gates open at 3 p.m. and racing starts at 6 p.m. on Saturday. Gates open at 2 p.m. and racing starts at 4 p.m. Sunday.

An open practice is from 7-10 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 24.

Deschamp Shines in Stock Car Thriller at Nodak Speedway

(Apr. 27, 2025) — Sunoco IMCA Stock Cars took center stage at Nodak Speedway’s season opener, and the 3/8-mile “Playground of Power” delivered thrilling side-by-side action on a crisp Sunday evening. Chris Tuchscherer, the 2005 Williston Basin Stock Car champion and double-duty driver for the night, grabbed the early lead. However, two-time defending track champion Will Scheresky found a way around him by lap 4 and began pulling away before a caution slowed the field on the fifth circuit. On the restart, Gabe Deschamp — fresh off a win at Marshalltown’s Frostbuster earlier in the month — tracked down Scheresky and completed a bold move on the inside to take command on lap 6. DeYoung Powers to Crystal Victory, Extends Incredible Streak

(Apr. 26, 2025) — Myron DeYoung proved the high side was the fast lane at Crystal Motor Speedway, using a late-race move to claim his first Friesen Performance IMCA Modified win of the 2025 season — and extend one of IMCA’s most impressive streaks. With the victory, DeYoung has now won at least one IMCA Modified main event in each of the last 31 consecutive seasons, continuing a remarkable run that spans more than three decades. Jaycob Truemner grabbed the initial lead after a spirited battle with Jerry Hunt.
