$1,000 to win Modified feature on July 25 card at US 30

COLUMBUS, Neb. – A top check for $1,000 and a spot on the Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot are on the line July 25 at US 30 Speedway.

IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars and Karl Kustoms Northern SportMods both race for $600 to win at the RE/MAX Realty-sponsored Thursday night show. IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks run for $450 to win, Mach-1 Sport Compacts for $200.

IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National, regional, E3 Spark Plugs Nebraska State and track points will be awarded.

Pit passes are $30 and there is no entry fee. Grandstand admission is $12 for adults, $6 for kids ages six to 12 and free for ages five and under.

US 30 Speedway hosts 25th annual Abe Lincoln Memorial Sept. 17-18

COLUMBUS, Neb. – Abe’s US 30 Speedway hosts its 25th annual Abe Lincoln Memorial with six IMCA divisions featured during the Sept. 17-18 special. Opening night sees IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Cars race for $700 to win, with $515 paid to IMCA Sunoco Stock Car and Karl Kustoms Northern SportMod winners and $315 paid to the IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stock winner. On Saturday, top checks are $1,015 for the Stock Cars and Northern SportMods. IMCA Modifieds and IMCA Sunoco Late Models both run for $615 top checks while the Hobby Stock feature pays $515 to win. Next Sunoco Race Fuels bonuses awarded at US 30, East Moline

COLUMBUS, Neb. (July 19, 2023) – Division title sponsor Sunoco Race Fuels awards $250 bonuses at two upcoming IMCA Late Model race nights, Thursday at US 30 Speedway and Sunday at East Moline Speedway. The July 20 show at Columbus, Neb., was postponed following a rainout last week. Drivers can receive the bonus one time in a season so the $250 would be given to the top finishing non-winning driver any night the winner has already earned the bonus at another track. Gates open at 5 p.m. at Columbus, where hot laps are at 7:15 p.m. and racing follows. At East Moline, Ill., on July 23, pit gates open at 2:30 p.m. and the grandstand opens at 3:30 p.m. Hot laps at 4:30 p.m. precede the first green flag. COLUMBUS, Neb. (Aug. 28, 2022) – Abe’s US 30 Speedway hosts the inaugural Governor’s Cup special, with IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars racing for $2,000 to win their Thursday, Sept. 1 main event. The B & B Racing Chassis All-Star Invitational qualifier is also the next installment in the Stock Car Crown Summer Series and pays a minimum of $200 to start. Friesen Performance IMCA Northern SportMods run for $1,000 to win and $150 to start, IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks for $500 to win and $50 to start. IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National, regional and state points will be awarded, with Stock Cars earning series points as well. Registration fee is $20 for Stock Cars and Northern SportMods. Mallicoat Outduels Grabouski in Modified Photo Finish At Eagle

(Apr. 18, 2025) — The 2025 first night of the Ice Breaker Challenge kicked off in spectacular fashion at Eagle Raceway, and the Friesen Performance IMCA Modified main event delivered one of the closest finishes the track has seen in recent memory, as Izac Mallicoat battled to the very last corner with his chassis builder, Jordan Grabouski. Jaxon Saathoff led the initial circuit but would soon be doing battle with Mallicoat. Mallicoat took over the top spot from Saathoff on lap 3 but Grabouski continued to march his way to the front on lap 12, moving to second and then taking the lead from Mallicoat two laps later. Gottschalk Wins Modified Opener At WaKeeney

(Apr. 18, 2025) — Daniel Gottschalk made the most of his 2025 debut, outdueling Greg Gustus in a spirited Friesen Performance IMCA Modified feature Friday night at WaKeeney Speedway to earn his first score of the year in the Jet Racing Central Region. The race started off with a front row of Greg Gustus and Gottschalk, who battled closely throughout the feature, as each took turns leading at different points. Late in the race, Gottschalk solidified the lead and ran away from Gustus en route to the victoyu. Second was Gustus, while third was Clay Money. Hardcharger in the main event was Brett Berry, who gained seven spots.
