IMCA Stock Car, Hobby, SportMod drivers chase Mitchell Machine contingency awards

WEBSTER CITY, Iowa – Mitchell Machine rewards the on-track accomplishments of IMCA drivers in four divisions for a 14th consecutive season. 

Regional point standings for IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars and IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks, and national point standings for Karl Kustoms Northern SportMods and Smiley’s Racing Products Southern SportMods again determine recipients of contingency awards given by the Webster City, Iowa, transmission manufacturer and machine shop. 

Drivers in all of those divisions are required to compete with a Mitchell-manufactured transmission, return a sign-up form to the IMCA home office by Aug. 1, provide proof of pur­chase made between Jan. 1 and Oct. 1, 2020 and display two Mitchell Machine decals on their race car. 

The top three eligible finishers in standings for both Stock Car regions and both Hobby Stock regions, and national standings for the two SportMod divisions will receive product certificates valued at $250, $100 and $100, respectively,

All Mitchell Machine awards will be presented during the national banquet in November or mailed beginning the following week from the IMCA home office.
