There were tons of really good racers from all over here this weekend,” he said. “This is my home track so it was special to win here.” The Fort Worth flyer, IMCA’s national, RaceSaver Nationals and Devil’s Bowl champion in 2018, started outside Friday winner Martin Edwards on the front row. Elliott led Gould by three car lengths after the white flag flew on the two and a half lap dash. Gould wasn’t about to coast to the finish, however, as he drove his no. 60 IMCA Modified deep into turns three and four to pull even with Elliott off the corner. The two drivers drag raced down the front stretch to the checkers. Elliott brushed the outside retaining wall, which was all Gould needed to take the win by a nose at the line and advance to [Read More]

Egbert IV and Jeffrey Abbey running 2-3-4 not far behind. Rogers raced his way into the top five seven circuits into the 25-lapper. His first charge to the front was erased by a lap 10 caution but he got the lead back for good the next time around. “We brought a brand new Sniper to Texas and it was on a [Read More]
