Eight more IMCA Stock Car drivers to contend for B & B All-Star honors

By Joyce Eisele BOONE, Iowa (June 3, 2023) – Both Friesen Performance IMCA  Modifieds and IMCA Northern SportMods shed their tops on Dirty 30 Topless Night presented by Capital Sign Company and 1-800-BetsOff Saturday at Boone Speedway. Jeremy Mills came away with the $1,200 win for the Modifieds and it was Cam Reimers taking the $1,000 victory in the Northern SportMod division. Jimmy Gustin shot to the lead from his pole starting spot as the Modified main began. Gustin looked to be well on his way to capturing the win, still leading at lap 20 while several other drivers continued making their way through the pack. Mills was one of those racers, as was last week’s winner Todd Shute, along with Jake McBirnie and Cody Laney, who had worked his way into third from starting 26th. BOONE, Iowa – Online registration is now open for the 39th annual IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s. The Sept. 6-11 Super Nationals is guaranteed to be the biggest, best and richest in event history. The form for pre-registration can be found at www.imca.com and www.raceboone.com under the Super Nationals menu. Drivers who do not already have a MyRacePass account can create one when they go to that link. Registration fee is $50 for Late Models, $40 for Modifieds, $25 for Stock Cars, Hobby Stocks, Mod Lites and Northern SportMods, and $15 for Sport Compacts. Drivers must also pre-register to reserve pit stalls and to compete in the Sept. 4 and 5 Prelude at Boone Speedway. Pit stall application links are on Super Nationals menus on both IMCA and Boone Speedway websites as well. The Prelude and each night of Super Nationals will be broadcast by IMCA.TV.

BOONE, Iowa – Iowa’s Action Track opens this Saturday with four IMCA divisions on the race night card. IMCA Modifieds, IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars, IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks and Karl Kustoms North­ern SportMods chase IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly racing National, regional and state, but no track points when the green flag flies at Boone Speedway on May 16. Working with IMCA and following CDC social distancing guidelines permitted by the State of Iowa, Boone Speedway will be able to race with only pit-side attendees. Each participating race car will be allowed a total of 10 members, come and join your favorite driver in the pits. Fans will also be able to watch the race live via pay-per-view on the all-new IMCA.TV.   Registration for the draw/redraw is required and can be done through the MyRacePass link on the track raceboone.com website.  Updates on specific guidelines and procedures will be posted on social media and the website.  Pit gates open at 1 p.m., hot laps are at 4 p.m. and racing starts at 5 p.m. Saturday.
