Both IMCA Modified features pay unprecedented $10,000 to win at 141’s Clash at the Creek special

FRANCIS CREEK, Wis. – Prestige, bragging rights and a top check of $10,000 are on the line when IMCA Modified drivers from across the country converge on 141 Speedway for the Wednesday and Thursday, June 17-18 Clash at the Creek. The Clash is a Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot qualifying event and pays a minimum of $750 to start. Ken Schrader is among the early entries for the 12th annual special.  IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars and Karl Kustoms Northern SportMods race for $1,000 to win both nights at Francis Creek. IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National, Side Biter Chassis North Central Region and EQ Cylinder Heads Northern Region and Wisconsin State points will be awarded. Pre-tech starts at noon and an open practice session runs from 6-9 p.m. on Tues­day, June 16. FRANCIS CREEK, Wis. (Aug. 19) – Cam Reimers sailed to the $10,000 checkers in the Captain of the Creek feature for IMCA Karl Kustoms Northern SportMods at 141 Speedway. Then he enjoyed some more Wisconsin hospitality, signing autographs and sampling barbeque in the pit area at Francis Creek along with several hundred new friends. The outside front row starter led all 50 laps of the Thursday night main event, keeping Jayden Schmidt in second most of the distance before holding hard charger Elijah Koenig at bay the last four times around the track. After carrying the black flag remembering his father Rodney during pre-race ceremonies at Francis Creek, the Green Bay driver led the last 19 of 20 laps in winning the Saturday night Friesen Performance IMCA Northern SportMod main event. “We lost dad to cancer last November. He’d been with me from the start of my career and was my biggest supporter,” said Wittkopf, “whether working on the car or at the track.
