AFCO begins fourth decade as IMCA sponsor

BOONVILLE, Ind. (June 20, 2024) – AFCO begins a fourth decade of IMCA support, continuing awards for drivers in six divisions in 2024.

The high performance shock, suspension, cooling and brake products manufacturer again gives those awards based on regional point standings for Friesen Performance IMCA Modifieds, IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars and IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks, and on national standings for IMCA Sunoco Late Models, Friesen Performance IMCA Northern SportMods and Smiley’s Racing Products IMCA Southern SportMods.

Top three drivers in each of the five Modified regions earn product certificates valued at $250, $150 and $50, respectively, while both the Modified national champion and rookie of the year re­ceive GM frame replace­ment kits.

The rookie of the year and fourth, sixth and 11th place finishers in national Late Model point standings receive $100 product certificates.

Certifi­cates worth $200, $100 and $50 go to top three drivers in both Stock Car regions and three eligible drivers in the two Hobby Stock regions and in na­tional standings for both Northern and Southern SportMod divisions earn product certificates redeemable for $125, $75 and $50.

Highest finishing drivers in Modified, Stock Car, Hobby Stock and Northern SportMod main events competing with AFCO shocks at the IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s in September  all receive four shocks.

The Hobby Stock champion gets a set of four springs and the Late Model champion receives a double pass radiator.

A GM frame replacement kit also goes to the top non-qualifier, based on points, for the Modified main event.

“Awards at Super Nationals have been a perfect complement to those given by AFCO based on standings for the point season for many years,” noted IMCA Marketing Integration and Sponsorship Director Carson Becker-Gramm. “This program has allowed us to give tangible recognition to many, many drivers since its inception.”

AFCO sharing wealth of awards with drivers in six IMCA divisions

BOONVILLE, Ind. – An IMCA awards program introduced in 1994 and fine-tuned ever since continues this season courtesy of AFCO.  The 28-year sponsor renews awards, based on national or regional standings, for IMCA Modified, IMCA Sunoco Late Model, IMCA Sunoco Stock Car, IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stock, Karl Kustoms Northern SportMod and Smiley’s Racing Products Southern SportMod drivers.  Top three eligible drivers in each of the five regions for Modifieds receive product certificates val­ued at $250, $150 and $50, respectively, while the top three eligible drivers in the two Stock Car regions get certifi­cates worth $200, $100 and $50.
