$5,000 payday at Sibley County Fair IMCA Stock Car Shootout

ARLINGTON, Minn. (Aug. 2, 2024) – The winner of Arlington Raceway’s Aug. 7 Sibley County Fair Stock Car Shootout will go home with bragging rights, $5,000 and a guaranteed starting spot in the B & B Racing Chassis All-Star Invitational.

Postponed from July 31 due to inclement weather, the IMCA Sunoco Stock Car special pays lap money as well, with random draws of $125-$500 courtesy of Justice Brothers, Evers Enterprises, B & B Racing Chassis, Arlington NAPA/Sunoco Fuel, Ken’s Repair & Towing, Dakota Robinson Trucking and QRS. 

The Paul DeVlaeminck family is sponsoring $500 to the winner of a non-qualifier race. Justice Brothers is also sponsoring the King of the Hill which will pay $500 to win.

Longest tow in the Stock Car division, sponsored locally by B & B, receives $200 from Prairie Grill & Bar while the driver turning the fastest lap receives $100 courtesy of My Race Pass. 

EZ Wash & Storage gives $250 to the 22nd place finisher in memory of Jeff Feil. Luke Trebelhorn Farms donates a Hoosier tire to the 16th place finisher and Dynamic Drivelines awards a driveshaft along with five  certificates good for $50 off a driveshaft.

Mackenthun Racing will pay for the 22nd driver’s entry in memory of Jeff Feil.

Friesen Performance IMCA Northern Sport Modifieds and IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks complete the card.

There will be hard chargers in each class and a hard luck awards in the Stock Cars courtesy of Geib Well & Water and the last place finisher in each class will receive an extra $100 from Dave Place of Lafayette and Pizza Corner, 

SportMods will also have random draws courtesy of Arlington NAPA/Sunoco and a king of the hill sponsored by Chris Neisen & Sons Construction that will pay $500. Evers Enterprises also sponsored the extra $1,000 to the feature winner and extra start money in the division.

Random draws in the Hobby Stocks are also courtesy of Justice Brothers and Arlington NAPA/Sunoco wih an extra $250 to the winner sponsored by Paul Manderfeld Trucking.

Race time is 7 p.m. The Sibley County Fair Stock Car Shootout will be broadcast by IMCA.TV.
