Speedway Motors, NAPA, Casey’s gift cards add nearly $14,000 to purse at IMCA Super Nationals

BOONE, Iowa (Aug. 27, 2024) – Minus the wrapping paper and ribbon, it’s going to seem like Christmas in September when they start awarding gift cards at the 42nd annual IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s.

Nearly $14,000 in gift cards will be presented to champions, hard chargers, first-time main event qualifiers and heat race winners, courtesy of Speedway Motors, Casey’s and NAPA.

NAPA gives $500 gift cards to champions crowned in the STARS Mod Lites on Sept. 1, the Late Models Sept. 2, Sport Compacts Sept. 3 and Modifieds, Stock Cars, SportMods and Hobby Stocks on Sept. 7. The Official Parts Supplier of IMCA and Super Nationals, NAPA also gives $250 gift cards to the hard charger in each of those races

Title sponsor Speedway Motors gives $100 gift cards to highest finishing first-time qualifiers in each main event. Each heat winner gets a gift card good for $10 off purchases of $100 from Speedway Motors and a $20 gift card from presentation sponsor Casey’s.

Casey’s and IMCA, notes IMCA Marketing Integration and Sponsorship Director Carson Becker-Gramm, each donate $10 for each heat race held at Super Nationals to Hope For The Warriors, a national, non-profit organization that provides assistance to combat wounded service men and women, their families and families of those killed in action.

That partnership will have raised $60,000 in its 12 years. The latest $5,000 donation is scheduled in front of the grandstand during the final day’s race program.

“The gift card program is a great way to recognize a lot of drivers for their accomplishments during dirt track racing’s biggest week,” said Becker-Gramm, “but more importantly it’s a complement to our efforts to give something back to those who have served our country and their families.”

Heat winner gift cards will be awarded after drivers have passed infield tech at Boone Speedway. Champion, hard charger and first-time qualifier gift cards will be mailed from the IMCA home office after Super Nationals.

Drivers in all seven divisions competing at the 42nd annual Super Nationals must display the NAPA, Speedway Motors and Casey’s decals, reminded Becker-Gramm, which will be included in packets they receive the first day they register, on their race car to be eligible to receive any gift card.
