$5 wristband admission Saturday at Bethany

BETHANY, Mo, – Bethany Speedway is the place to be this Saturday, June 30 for Toot Toot Family Restaurant and Lounge Night at the Races.

A grandstand wristband from US 36 Raceway the night before gets fans grandstand admission at Bethany for only $5.

Divisions in action include the IMCA Modifieds, IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars and Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMods.

Intermission sees a watermelon eating contest for kids and kids at heart with prizes given throughout the crowd.

The green flag drops at 8 p.m.

Four IMCA divisions race Saturday at Bethany Speedway

By Chet Querry BETHANY, Mo. – Bethany Speedway returns to action on June 6 with a full night of racing at the Northwest Missouri State Fairgrounds.  The Saturday program features IMCA Modifieds, IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Cars, IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars and Karl Kustoms Northern SportMods.  Opening night of the 2020 season saw records broken with total of 128 cars and drivers traveling from as far away as Pennsylvania, Ohio, Illinois, Arkansas and Arizona to race on the smooth, fast and always competitive Bethany oval.  There are a lot of local names bringing cars to race and more cars being built. Lap after lap of the best side-by-side racing action is at Bethany Speedway.

Bethany checkers fly for Stallbaumer

By Chet Querry BETHANY, Mo. (June 27) – With a new running order every time around the oval, Tim Stallbaumer was the leader of the 15th and final circuit of Saturday’s Karl Kustoms Northern SportMod feature at Bethany Speedway. Stallbaumer found his way to the front and never looked back as he picked up the win from the eighth starting spot. Tim Eaton held the lead for a few laps about mid-race and finished second. Steven Clancy and Chris Wright stayed in close contact the entire race and finished third and fourth, respectively.  The IMCA Sunoco Stock Car feature started with Mich Ross and Steve Starmer on the front row. From the drop of the green flag for about four laps they stayed side by side with Ross on bottom and Starmer on top. Starmer adjusted his line to the bottom as the top lost just a little speed after an early caution and followed Ross for a few laps. Championship Night is Saturday at Bethany

By Rick Staley  BETHANY, Mo. – This Saturday night, Sept. 14, the stars of Bethany Speedway will battle to the check­ers for prestigious track championships in all divisions.  IMCA Modified, IMCA Sunoco Stock Car and Karl Kustoms Northern SportMod champions will be crowned. Gates open at 5 p.m., the drivers’ meeting is at 6:45 p.m., hot laps are at 7:30 p.m. and racing starts at 8 p.m. Pit passes are $35 and grandstand admission is $10 for adults while kids six years of age and under free.
