Heart O’ Texas Speedway hosts Fall Classic, Dirt Dominator

WACO, Texas – Five thousand dollars is the top IMCA Modified main event prize while $10,000 is at stake in the IMCA.TV-sponsored Dirt Dominator during the Oct. 25-27 Fall Classic at Heart O’ Texas Speedway.

The Modified feature is a 2019 Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot qualifying race and pays a minimum of $300 to start. IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars and Smiley’s Racing Products Southern SportMods both race for $1,500 to win and $125 to start.

Non-qualifiers in all three divisions get $100. Entry fees are $150 for Modifieds and $60 for Stock Cars and SportMods.

Sixteen Modified drivers have already qualified for the winner-take-all $10,000 Dirt Dominator, to be held during the Thursday, Oct. 25 practice night. A provisional starting spot in the main event is at stake in a second, $1,000 to win race for the 15 non-winning Dirt Dominator drivers.

Friday pit passes are $30. Grandstand admission is $12 for adults and $10 for seniors, students and military. On Saturday, pit passes are $35 and spectator admission is $15 for adults and $12 for seniors, students and military.

Kids ages 6-12 are $5 and five and under get in free both nights.

Green saddles up for night two Lone Star Tour victory

WACO, Texas (Feb. 16) – Night two of the Sniper Speed Lone Star Tour saw Derek Green make a second stop in victory lane.  Green led the last 10 laps of Sunday’s IMCA Sunoco Stock Car feature at Heart O’ Texas Speedway, earning $1,000. He’d started the 30-lap main event from 11th after winning his ‘B’ race and had taken over the front spot just before a turn three incident that eliminated challengers Dean Cornelius and Angel Munoz. Hoegh rethinks turning around, turns in IMCA Modified win at Bagby Memorial

ELM MOTT, Texas (March 1) – Just 30 minutes into the 3-1/2 hour tow to Heart O’ Texas Speedway and already running late, Jeff Hoegh thought about turning around and starting his season another night. Instead, he got back on the road, got to HO’T in time and won the Jack Bagby Memorial main event for IMCA Modifieds, earning both $1,000 and a berth of the Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot.  “Getting on the ballot is a pretty big deal for me. Modifieds, Stock Cars, Southern SportMods on May 25-29 IMCA All Star Shootout cards

ARDMORE, Okla. (April 13, 2022) – All-stars in three IMCA divisions see action each night of the May 25-29 All Star Shootout.  Friesen Performance IMCA Modifieds run for $1,000 to win, IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars and Smiley’s Racing Products Southern SportMods both for $750 to win beginning with opening night Wednesday, May 25 at Southern Oklahoma Speedway in Ardmore. The Shootout is then Texas-bound for shows Thursday, May 26 at Grayson County Speedway in Bells; Friday, May 27 at Boyd Raceway; Saturday, May 28 at Kennedale Speedway Park; and Sunday, May 29 at Heart O’ Texas Speedway in Waco.  All five race programs will be broadcast by IMCA.TV.
