Toryn’s lemonade stand open again to raise money for Hunting With Heroes

ALGONA, Iowa (July 2, 2024) – Toryn’s Lemonade Stand will be open for business again, raising money for the Hunting with Heroes organization to help fund the upcoming IMCA Salute to Veterans Tour.

Eleven-year-old entrepreneur Toryn Kleen will sell lemonade, along with cookies and cupcakes, near the Lake Mills Motorsports location in Algona, next to the former Harley dealership, for a third consecutive year.

Hours are 11 a.m.-7 p.m. on Wednesday, July 3 and 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Sunday, July 7. A glass of lemonade will run 50 cents or freewill donation.

Toryn is looking to continue the upward trend in her fundraising efforts, after topping $2,300 in 2022 and $3,200 last year.

Hunting with Heroes helps promote awareness and support for veterans and active duty military personnel, who will be recognized during upcoming Salute to Veterans powered by Performance Bodies events scheduled later this month at Clay County Speedway, Kossuth County Speedway and Boone Speedway.

Friesen Performance IMCA Modifieds, IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars and Friesen Performance IMCA Northern SportMods run each night of the tour.
