Velocita offers custom fire suits for Super Nationals delivery

LEXINGTON, N.C. (July 12, 2024) – Drivers looking for a quality, custom fire suit and the opportunity to give one of their IMCA sponsors a big plug will be able to do just that.

And Velocita makes it possible in time for those lightweight, two-layer SFI 5 fire suits to be worn while competing at the 42nd annual IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s.

These special custom fire suits sell for an incredible $499, discounted from the regular price of $799.

Along with the driver’s name on the belt, they’ll feature both the large sponsor’s logo and smaller IMCA logo on the chest, and the familiar Velocita ‘V’ logo on the sleeve.

Final day to order and pre-pay for Super Nationals delivery is July 31. Orders can be made through the Velocita website and entering the code SUPERNATIONALS42, or by contacting Randy Pettit at Velocita at 336 971-5400.

“For less than a working man’s average wages, you can get something that will absolutely fit and protect you head to toe, pay homage to one of your favorite IMCA sponsors and get an incredible value and incredible suit in a super timely manner,” said Velocita’s Brad Smith. “This is a very exclusive deal, the first of its kind, available to IMCA drivers only and for a very short term.”

“There are really a lot of elements to this. Why I like about it best is that entry level drivers, the guys who tell me these suits are difficult to fit into their racing budget, can buy an affordable custom suit,” he added. “It fits their price range and now everybody can afford a custom suit.”

Drivers can choose from any of the 92 sponsors listed on the IMCA website. They’ll be able to go to the Velocita booth on Manufacturers’ Row during the week of Super Nationals at Boone Speedway to pick up their new fire suits.

Another plus, notes Smith, is that drivers can wear the suit after Super Nationals and continue giving a wardrobe shout out to their sponsor throughout the lifetime of the suit at weekly and special events.

Drivers interested in purchasing a custom fire suit but not for use at Super Nationals can order through end of August with delivery some time after end of the end of the 2024 point season.

Velocita, located in Lexington, N.C., is in its 13th year as an IMCA sponsor and again awards fire suits to drivers winning national and regional championships as well as Junior National and Lady Eagle titles.

Velocita renews IMCA fire suit awards for 12th season
