Contingency awards top $60,000 for upcoming IMCA Super Nationals

BOONE, Iowa (Aug. 16, 2024) – Drivers competing at the upcoming IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s will be in the running for the most exclusive titles in all of dirt track racing, as well as approximately $60,000 worth of contingency awards given by IMCA and event sponsors.

In all, 81 sponsors will give product, product certificate or outright cash awards to Modified, Stock Car, Hobby Stock, Northern SportMod, Late Model Mod Lite and Sport Compact drivers at the upcoming Super Nationals.

“A lot of drivers are coming to Boone for the Aug. 31-Sept. 1 Prelude and Sept. 2-7 Super Nationals and a lot of them will be receiving continencies,” noted IMCA Marketing Integration and Sponsorship Director Carson Becker-Gramm. “It’s important for drivers to note that some product and product certificate awards such as those from AERO will be distributed at Boone Speedway, and will be redeemable on Manufacturers’ Row that week.”

Product awards will be given by Abilene Race Rads, AERO Race Wheels, AFCO, Autometer, B & B Racing Chassis, Bassett, Champ Pans, CPT Racing Manufacturing, Dynamic Drivelines, Edelbrock, Eibach Springs, Enginequest, Fast Shafts, Hoosier Tire, Hyperco and Integra Shocks;

Intercomp, JE Pistons, Jones Racing Products, Justice Brothers/Gillund Enterprises, Karl Kustoms, Kevko, KRC, Landrum Springs, Longacre, Midstate Machine, Moser Engineering, MSD, Performance Distributors, PRO Shocks, QuickCar and RaceCeiver;

And by Stephenville Starter, Sunoco Race Fuels, Superior Fuel Cells, Sweet Manufacturing, Swift Springs, Sybesma Graphics, Tire Demon, TomCat Performance, Total Power, Ultra Force, Velocita, Wehrs Machine and Racing Products, Winters Performance and Zamp Racing.

Giving product certificate or gift cards are Bob Harris Enterprises, BSB Manufacturing, Coleman Racing Products, Dominator Racing Products, Finishline Racing Products, JAZ Products, Jerovetz Motorsports Shock Service, Kirkey Racing Fabrication, MD3, Melling Performance, Motorsports Warehouse, NAPA, Penske Shocks, Performance Bodies, QA1, Schoenfeld Headers, Shaw Race Cars, Smiley’s Racing Products, SCS Fabricating, Stealth Racing, Summit and Wilwood Engineering. 

And sponsors giving a combination of product and product certificate or gift cards include Allstar Performance, Brinn Transmission, Edelbrock, KSE, Longacre, PEM and event title sponsor Speedway Motors. 

Quick Performance, Saints Avenue Café – they’re the folks who make your breakfast during the week at Boone – and Jergens Enterprises all give cash awards.

Casey’s General Store gives a $20 gift card to each heat winner, plus a $10 donation that will be matched by IMCA and given to Hope For The Warriors

And IMCA.TV adds to the purse paid in each of the seven divisions.

“The contingency awards that we’re able to give at Super Nationals are a nice complement to the purse,” Becker-Gramm said, “and entirely due to the IMCA sponsors who provide them.”
