Oregon pilot Williamson prepped for Arizona Modified Tour

It will also be the first round of the eight-race inaugural IMCA Arizona Modified Tour and Jesse Williamson, from Eugene, Ore., is among the 160-plus drivers pre-entered in the inaugural event. Summit Racing Equipment enlists in second IMCA national decal program

TALLMADGE, Ohio – Summit Racing Equipment becomes part of the national decal program for a second IMCA division this season. The Tallmadge, Ohio high performance parts retailer takes on the new role for IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks while returning to the national program for IMCA Modifieds. Drivers in both classes will be required to display two Summit decals on their race car in 2017. Those decals will be included in packets mailed to drivers beginning this spring. Schoenfeld Headers special events awards renewed for drivers in five IMCA divisions

VAN BUREN, Ark. – Drivers competing in IMCA special events are in the running for awards from Schoenfeld Headers again this season. Fifty dollar product certificates go to designated place finishers at 80 IMCA Modified, IMCA Late Model, IMCA Sunoco Stock Car, Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMod and Scoggin-Dickey Parts Center Southern SportMod specials. Schoenfeld certificates will be given at all events in the 31st annual Deery Brothers Summer Series. All certificates will be mailed from the IMCA home office within a week after official race results are received. WEST BURLINGTON, Iowa – The Deery Brothers Summer Series returns to a very familiar venue for its 31st opening night and ends with a Month of More Money in September. Touring IMCA Late Models start their 2017 campaign on Saturday, April 1 at 34 Raceway. Winter Heat Challenge this weekend at Perris

PERRIS, Calif. – Perris Auto Speedway will put a wrap on the Winter Heat Challenge Series this Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 11 and 12. Both shows will feature IMCA Modifieds running for IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National, Larry Shaw Western Region, Allstar Performance State and track points. Spectator gates open at 2 p.m. each day with racing at 3 p.m. Adult tickets are $15 each day. Active military with proper ID, students ages 13-18 with their school ID and kids ages 6-12 get in for $5. Children five and under will be admitted free. YUMA, Ariz. – Eight $1,250 to win main events take top billing when the inaugural IMCA Arizona Modified Tour ventures to Cocopah Speedway, Arizona Speedway, Canyon Speedway Park and San Tan Ford Central Arizona Speedway. VINTON, Iowa – IMCA Late Model drivers running for national and state honors will have more on-track opportunities in 2017. IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National and Allstar Performance State points will be awarded at all Deery Brothers Summer Series events as the tour switches from a unique 50-point system to IMCA’s familiar 40-point system.
