Ohio Thunder Sprint Series brings IMCA, RaceSaver to the Buckeye State

FRANKFORT, Ohio – Fourteen point races are on the initial schedule for the inaugural Ohio Thun­der IMCA Eagle Motorsports RaceSaver Sprint Series. Atomic Speedway at Waverly hosts April 18, May 2 and 16, July 31, Aug. 1 and Oct. 3 events. Jackson County Speedway at Jackson is the site of April 17 and 24, May 8 and 15, June 5 and 19, July 24 and Aug. 21 races. Sponsored locally by Southern Ohio Equipment Company of Frankfort, the Ohio Thunder Series is the first RaceSaver series in Ohio. “RaceSaver keeps everything on a level playing field. Day Motor Sports delivers special events awards in all IMCA divisions

TYLER, Texas – Special events drivers in all eight IMCA divisions chase awards from Day Motor Sports again in 2015. Day gives $50 gift cards to a top five finisher at as many as 80 designated specials this season. Performance Engineering & Manufacturing returns with awards for Deery, HDT drivers

SAINT CLAIR, Mo. – Performance Engineering and Manufacturing returns to the IMCA sponsorship ranks this season with product awards for Deery Brothers Summer Series and Hawkeye Dirt Tour drivers. The Saint Clair, Mo., company will give a set of standard quick change gears to the pole starter at main events in both the Late Model and Modified series. IMCA Modifieds race March 4, 5 at LVMS Dirt Track

LAS VEGAS, Nev. (Feb. 27) – The half-mile Dirt Track at Las Vegas Motor Speedway hosts a pair of $750 to win events for IMCA Xtreme Motor Sports Modifieds next Wednesday and Thursday, March 4 and 5. Features pay a minimum of $75 to start with $50 paid to non-qualifiers. Entry fee is $20 a night. IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National, Larry Shaw Racing Western Region and Allstar Performance State points will be awarded for both draw/redraw shows. World of Outlaws Sprint Cars are on both programs. West Coast Late Models run on Wednesday and USAC West Coast Sprints on Thursday. Pit gates open at 2 p.m. and the front gate opens at 5 p.m. Modified heat races start at approximately 8:50 p.m. Wednesday and 8:25 p.m. on Thursday.

BOONVILLE, Ind. – PRO Shocks rewards the on-track accomplishments of drivers in five IMCA divisions again this season. KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The manufacturer of the “Official steering box of IMCA” is new this season to the national decal program for IMCA Modifieds.
