Callahan scores big win in Tri-Track Challenge
By Jerry Mackey FARLEY, Iowa (July 15) – Friday night’s action at the Farley Speedway included the Ideal Ready Mix Tri-Track Challenge featuring the Out-Pace Racing Products IMCA Late Models. The 50-lap feature started off with Joel Callahan and Ryan Dolan swapping the lead four times on the first two laps with exciting slide jobs making for thrilling racing action. Callahan settled into the point for the next several laps but Dolan remained within a car length until the race’s first caution flew on lap 28 of the 50 lap main. Ray Guss Jr. pulled into contention on the restart and battled Callahan for the remainder of the feature with Guss leading several laps before Callahan was able to take control following a lap 38 restart. Guss ran second ahead of Dolan and Jeremiah Hurst.
