The car was sett up nice. Wins are what you strive for. It was a good feeling to get this one off our back and a lot of the other competitors came over after the race to congratulate me.” He’d won once in a Mach-1 Sport Compact, in 2015, before running an IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stock and then getting into the Stock Car. Anderson streaks, repeats at IMCA Landus SportMod Nationals

BRITT, Iowa (June 12, 2023) – So much for the slow start to his season. Logan Anderson led 29 of 30 laps in repeating as winner of the Landus IMCA Northern SportMod Nationals at Hancock County Speedway, outrunning Matthew Looft and Colby Fett and earning $2,500 for his Monday night efforts. He’d been winless in 16 sanctioned starts before winning Saturday at 34 Raceway, Sunday at Benton County Speedway and then last night at Hancock County. “It’s about a three hour trip so it feels good to go up there, have a good race and beat a lot of good cars,” Anderson said. “We have struggled this year so it feels good to start picking up the wins. Once they start to come, you get your confidence back.” Anderson drew the outside pole start for the 25-lapper and took charge from the initial green flag, catching up with the back of the field just eight circuits in [Read More]
