
Beckendorf records Rucks Memorial win
ARLINGTON, Minn. (Sept. 14, 2024) – Brandon Beckendorf was the third and final leader in the Jeff Rucks Memorial event for Friesen Performance IMCA Modifieds at Arlington Raceway Saturday night. Trent Loverude started on the pole and Clint Hatlestad who started in the second row, moved right to the front with him by the eighth lap, Hatlestad was the leader but only for two laps as Loverude retook the position. A yellow came out for a spinning car and on the restart, Hatlestad was in second behind Loverude once again but the 10th starting Beckendorf was also in the mix. Three laps later, Beckendorf put the pressure on and as they were coming in for the white flag, it was Beckendorf leading the pack. He held on for the $1,000, Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational qualifying win with Loverude taking second, Hatlestad in third and Dalton Magers fourth.
