Hawkeye Dirt Tour date at Oskaloosa rescheduled to July 15

OSKALOOSA, Iowa (June 11) – The IMCA Hawkeye Dirt Tour event scheduled tonight (Thursday) at Southern Iowa Speedway has been rescheduled due to inclement weather. The series for Xtreme Motor Sports IMCA Modifieds now travels to Oskaloosa for a Wednesday, July 15 show. That’s the night before the Harris Clash, also part of the Hawkeye Dirt Tour, at Knoxville Raceway. Next up for the HDT is the Thursday, June 18 event on Bud Night at Lee County Speedway in Donnellson. IMCA Late Models will now run Wednesday, June 24 at Southern Iowa Speedway.

2015 Kupper Chevrolet Dakota Classic Modified Tour payout powered up with new partnership from Industrial Electric and RACEFEEDX

Following up to the RACEFEEDX “New Blood, Long Tow” presented by IMCA.TV, officials from the Kupper Chevrolet Dakota Classic Modified Tour are pleased to announce added purse monies from Industrial Electric and RACEFEEDX for the 2015 monster modified tilt. 

Industrial Electric joins the growing list of Dakota Classic Modified Tour sponsors in the same way so many businesses have joined the tour–as fans of racing! Owner Lynn Hecker of Dickinson, North Dakota, has sponsored several IMCA modified cars over the years and he loves to “see the very best drivers from all over the continent come to North Dakota to compete against some very tough competition right here at home.” He also understands some of the tracks on the tour, like his home track of Dickinson, do not have the grandstand capacity to fund the ever growing payouts the tour needs to attract the best drivers.

Donor Network, Urbana 5 Night this Sunday at Benton County Speedway

VINTON, Iowa – A $1,250 top prize and a spot on the Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot are at stake when Xtreme Motor Sports IMCA Modifieds headline the Sunday, June 14 Iowa Donor Network and Urbana 5 Memorial Night at Benton County Speedway. IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks race for $750 and IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars and Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMods both for $700. Increased payouts are in place throughout each feature field. All applicable points will be awarded. Hard charger and contingency awards will be given in all divisions. STUART, Iowa – Drivers in two IMCA divisions chase $1,000 top checks this Sunday, June 14 at Stuart Speedway. The 15th annual Ron Little/Bones Memorial for Xtreme Motor Sports IMCA Modifieds is a qualifying event for the Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational. IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars also vie for $1,000 to win in the Stu Hansen Dodge Stock Car Shootout. DONNELLSON, Iowa – A draw/redraw format will be in place for the five IMCA divisions on the Friday, June 12 program at Lee County Speedway. Friday date at I-88 next for IMCA Empire State Series 

AFTON, N.Y. (June 8) – I-88 Speedway hosts the first of consecutive IMCA Empire State Series events this Friday, June 12. Touring Xtreme Motor Sports IMCA Modifieds race for $400 to win and a minimum of $75 to start their main event at Afton. IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National, Dirt Works Eastern Region, Allstar Performance State and special series points will be given. Pit gates open at 4 p.m. and the grandstand opens at 5 p.m. Hot laps are at 6:15 p.m. and racing starts at 7 p.m. Spectator admission is $10 for adults, $5 for kids ages 9-14 and free for eight and under. Gary Roberts has won two of the previous four Empire State Series features at his hometown track, in 2012 and again last July. SportMod Challenge winner earns $2,000 at Davenport

DAVENPORT, Iowa – Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMods take over the spotlight in a $2,000 to win main event on Friday, June 12 at Davenport Speedway. The IMCA SportMod Challenge will use a draw/redraw format and all racing will be on the quarter-mile oval. Pit gates open at 4:30 p.m. and the grandstand opens at 5 p.m., with racing at 6:45 p.m. Spectator admission is $15 for adults, $14 for seniors and free for kids 12 and under when accompanying a paid adult. Tri-City’s Greased Pig pays $1,055 to IMCA Modified winner

AUBURN, Mich. – Version 5.0 of the annual Greased Pig special at Tri-City Motor Speedway pays the Xtreme Motor Sports IMCA Modified winner $1,055. The Friday, June 12 feature will be 37 laps, pays a minimum of $135 to start and is a qualifying event for the 2015 Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot. IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National, Dirt Works Eastern Region, Allstar Performance State and local track points will be awarded. There is no entry fee. Pit gates at Auburn open at 5 p.m., the grandstand opens at 5:30 p.m., hot laps are at 6:30 p.m. and racing starts at 7:55 p.m. Carload Night admission is $40 for passenger cars, pickups, vans or SUVs; regular grandstand admission is $14 for adults, $13 for seniors ages 55 and over, $8 for kids ages 7-13 and free for six and under. Saturday show at Jackson next for North Star Touring Series 

JACKSON, Minn. – Saturday’s IMCA’s North Star Tour show sees five IMCA divisions back in a familiar series setting. Jackson Speedway is site of the June 6 card featuring Xtreme Motor Sports IMCA Modifieds, IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars, Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMods, IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks and Mach-1 Sport Compacts. Pit gates open at 4:30 p.m. and the grandstand opens at 5 p.m. Hot laps are at 6:30 p.m. with racing to follow. Summer Sizzle is Saturday at Canyon Speedway Park

The 9th World IMCA Modifieds headline the June 6 Summer Sizzle along with a full slate of Arizona Differential Pure Stocks, Scottsdale Muffler & Automotive Renegades, Micro Sprints, Dwarf Cars and Mini Stocks. Racing action gets under way at 7 p.m. While defending track champion Ricky Thornton Jr. topped the most recent 9th World Vapor IMCA Modified event on May 9, it’s Shawn Zelenka out to the points lead with a slim four-point lead over Garett Funk. Bo Partain is just another three points back in the Modified title chase with George Fronsman and Bryson Curry also among the top five.
