Kupper Chevrolet Dakota Classic Modified Tour online entries accepted starting today

IMCA Race Night Friday at Clay County Fair Speedway

SPENCER, Iowa (May 29) – Friday night is IMCA Race Night at the Clay County Fair Speedway. Hot laps begin at 7 p.m. with races at 7:30 p.m. “Weekly IMCA racing at the Clay County Fair Speedway is off to a great start,” said CCF Manager Jeremy Parsons. “The drivers and fans have been very supportive.” After three weeks of racing at the Clay County Fair Speedway, point leaders are Dustin Smith of Lake City in the IMCA Xtreme Motor Sports Modifieds, Devin Smith of Lake City in the IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars, Doug Smith of Lanesboro in the Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMods, Cody Nielsen of Spencer in the IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks and Jay DeVries of Spencer in the Mach-1 Sport Compacts. Rescheduled Skip Rose Memorial Sunday at I-35

MASON CITY, Iowa – Two $1,000 to win features headline I-35 Speedway’s rescheduled Skip Rose Memorial this Sunday, May 31. Winners of both the IMCA Xtreme Motor Sports Modified and IMCA Sunoco Stock Car main events take home $1,000. If not already on the ballot, the Modified winner also becomes a candidate for the upcoming Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational starting field. Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMods and IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks both race for top prizes of $500, Mach-1 Sport Compacts for $200. IMCA Late Model veterans chase $500 bonuses at Marshalltown Deery

MARSHALLTOWN, Iowa (May 27) – Veterans of the IMCA Late Model division are in the running for a pair of $500 bonuses when Marshalltown Speedway hosts the Deery Brothers Summer Series on Tuesday, June 2. The Miller Lite 50 tour event pays $3,000 to win and a minimum of $300 to start. Former promoter Steve Priske, now the owner of Rumour’s Bar & Grill in Marshalltown, will also pay a $500 bonus to the highest finishing Late Model driver who competed at Marshalltown between 1985 and 1990, plus another $500 bonus if that driver can win the main event. Jeff Aikey of Cedar Falls, a seven-time tour champion, took home both bonuses from the Deery feature held last year, during the track’s 50th anniversary season. Memorial Day Hawkeye Dirt Tour show canceled

MASON CITY, Iowa (May 25) – The Memorial Day IMCA Hawkeye Dirt Tour event at I-35 Speedway has been canceled due to the weekend of wet weather. Up next in the series for touring IMCA Xtreme Motor Sports Modifieds is the Tuesday, June 9 show at Jackson County Speedway. The Deery Brothers Summer Series for IMCA Late Models is also at Maquoketa that evening.

Diamond Mountain hosts May 29, 30 Racing For a Reason

VERNAL, Utah – The inaugural Racing for a Reason Rumble at Diamond Mountain Speedway boasts a pair of $1,000 to win features for IMCA Xtreme Motor Sports Modifieds this Friday and Saturday, May 29 and 30. Racing for a Reason Rumble is designed to be an annual event and help various recipients in need. The 2015 recipient is six-year-old Kaden McCormick of Roosevelt, Utah, who is in need of another kidney transplant. Both Modified features are 2015 Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot qualifiers and pay a minimum of $125 to start. Twenty Modifieds will take the green flag in each 20-lap main event. BATTLE MOUNTAIN, Nev. – Battle Mountain Raceway hosts its second annual Iturriaga NAPA Memorial special this Saturday, May 30. IMCA Xtreme Motor Sports Modifieds race for $1,000 to win and a spot on the ballot for the 2015 Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational. Three dates announced for Dominick Bruns Memorial Challenge Cup Chase

DANUBE, Minn. – IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars will race for $1,000 to win on each of three Dominick Bruns Memorial Challenge Cup Chase dates. Jackson Speedway hosts the opening night show on Saturday, May 30. The Chase is at Murray County Speedway in Slayton on Friday, July 17 and at Redwood Speedway in Redwood Falls on Sunday, July 26.
