IMCA Spectacular ends Buffalo River Race Park season this weekend

GLYNDON, Minn. – IMCA Xtreme Motor Sports Modifieds race for $1,000 to win on the final night of the season at Buffalo River Race Park. All applicable IMCA points will be awarded for Fargo Tractor IMCA Spectacular presented by Performance Auto shows on Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 13 and 14. Modifieds chase a $750 top check on Saturday and earn a minimum of $100 by starting the main event both days. Two $1,000 to win IMCA Modified features at Billings’ Rebel Run special

BILLINGS, Mont. (Sept. 9) – A pair of $1,000 to win features for IMCA Xtreme Motor Sports Modifieds are on the card this weekend at Billings Motorsports Park. Both Friday, Sept. 12 and Saturday, Sept. 13 Rebel Run races are 2015 Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot qualifiers and pay a minimum of $100 to start. All IMCA points, including local track, will be awarded. Non-qualifiers will get tow money if there are more than 20 entries. Pit gates open at 3:30 p.m. and the grandstand opens at 6 p.m. both days. Hot laps precede 7 p.m. racing. There is no entry fee. Both car and driver and pit passes are $25. BOONE, Iowa (Aug. 26) – The first champion of the 2014 IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s will be crowned on opening night of America’s Racin’ Vacation at Boone Speedway. The Monday, Sept. 1 main event for IMCA Late Models following the Deery Brothers Summer Series will be 50 laps, with a potential top prize of $4,500 and a minimum of $300 paid to start. Point leader Justin Kay of Wheatland has won four of the first 10 series events this season, including three out of the last four. Super Nationals tech inspection and other information

Tech inspection precedes practice, Sunday Night Tailgate BOONE, Iowa – Tech inspection, an open practice session, some music and a pretty awesome party are planned for Sunday, Aug. 31, the night before the IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nation­als fueled by Casey’s get underway at Boone Speedway. A new tech inspection process has been announced for the 32nd annual event and beginning at 9 a.m. Sunday, drivers will receive tech inspection sheets and inspection group cards at the tech inspection trailer on a first-come, first-served basis. Drivers will be called over the PA system to the lineup board for staging and then sent to the inspec­tion area in groups; drivers are encouraged to go to the tech trailer and get their inspection sheets and cards as soon as they and their race cars arrive at the speedway. Nebraska State Championship special this Friday at Beatrice

BEATRICE, Neb. (Aug. 25) – Five IMCA divisions fill the Fri­day, Aug. 29 Nebraska State Champion­ship card at Be­atrice Speedway. IMCA Xtreme Motor Sports Modifieds race for $600 to win and a mini­mum of $100 to start. Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMods are in the running for $500 to win, IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks for $400, IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars for $300 and Mach-1 Sport Compacts for $150. GILLETTE, Wyo. (Aug. 25) – Three $1,000 to win features for IMCA Xtreme Motor Sports Modifieds are on the program for Gillette Thunder Speedway’s 15th annual East-West Clash Friday, Saturday and Sunday, Aug. 29-31. All are 2015 Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot qualifying events and IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National, Larry Shaw Racing Western Region and Allstar Performance State points will be awarded. DES MOINES, Iowa – Touring IMCA Late Models travel to Des Moines for their next Deery Brothers Summer Series show, during the Iowa State Fair. The Monday, Aug. 11 main event at the Iowa State Fairgrounds Speedway pays $3,000 to win and a minimum of $300 to start.
