LINCOLN, Neb. – Another 26 IMCA rookies have won career-first feature events in their new division and received gift cards good for $100 from Speedway Motors. IMCA Xtreme Motor Sports Modified rookies winning career-first features included Gregory Gretz at Thunderhill Raceway on July 13; Jeff Larson at Redwood Speedway on Aug. 18; Nate Miller at Clinton County Raceway on July 19; Colton Osborn at Dawson County Raceway on July 21; Jesse Taylor at Phillips County Raceway on Aug. 24; Craig Ward at Skyline Raceway on Aug. 24; and Austin Wonch at Tri-City Motor Speedway on Aug. 23. $2,000 top prizes in three IMCA divisions at Lubbock’s Fall Brawl

LUBBOCK, Texas – The winners of three IMCA main events take home $2,000 checks from Lubbock Speedway’s Friday and Saturday, Sept. 20-21 Fall Brawl. Two grand is the top prize for IMCA Xtreme Motor Sports Modifieds, Scoggin-Dickey Parts Center Southern SportMods and IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars. IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks run for $1,000 to win. The total purse is more than $22,000. IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National and Allstar Performance State points will be awarded in all four divisions. Regional points will also be awarded to Modified, Stock Car and Hobby Stock drivers. Pit gates open at 5:30 p.m. Friday and at 4 p.m. on Saturday. Racing starts at 8 p.m. on Friday and at 7 p.m. on Saturday. A party in the pits for fans and drivers follows the Friday program. Marshalltown hosts World Nationals this weekend

MARSHALLTOWN, Iowa – Features for three IMCA sanctioned divisions are on the program for both nights of the Friday and Saturday, Sept. 20-21 World Nationals at Marshalltown Speedway. Both IMCA Sunoco Stock Car and Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMod features pay $1,000 to win while both IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stock features pay $500 to win. IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National and Allstar Performance State points will be awarded in all three divisions. Stock Cars and Hobby Stocks also vie for regional points. Pit passes are $15 for the 7-9 p.m. open practice on Thursday, Sept. 19. The Cookies BBQ Sauce Kickoff party will feature free food and a band. Race for Deery Series crown decided this weekend at Independence, Davenport

INDEPENDENCE, Iowa (Sept. 17) – The Deery Brothers Summer Series championship will be decided when touring IMCA Late Models visit Independence and Davenport this weekend. Brian Harris takes a 26-point lead over Justin Kay into the Friday, Sept. 20 event at Independence Motor Speedway, while Andy Eckrich is another 22 points behind in third and defending champion Jeff Aikey is another nine points off the pace. The tour finale is Saturday, Sept. 21 at Davenport Speedway. Both Harris and Kay are armed with provisionals so they’re guaranteed to start both main events, as are Eckrich and Aikey. Mr. Excitement 40 this Weekend at Canyon

The track’s hotly-contested IMCA Xtreme Motor Sports Modifieds, along with the West Coast Late Models will headline the action on both Friday and Saturday night. Ocean’s Pettit Memorial pays $15,003 to IMCA Modified winner

WATSONVILLE, Calif. (Sept. 15) – The biggest IMCA Xtreme Motor Sports Modified payday of the season will come at Ocean Speedway’s third annual Pat Pettit Memorial Shootout this Friday and Saturday, Sept. 20-21. The winner earns a hefty $15,003. The runner-up pockets $5,003 while third place is worth $2,003, fourth place pays $1,203 and fifth nets $1,103. A minimum of $503 will be paid to start the 22-car, 50-lap event. FARLEY, Iowa (Sept. 10) – One IMCA special series continues and another concludes during the up­coming Yankee Dirt Track Classic Weekend at Farley Speedway. Jeff Aikey has won the last two events while Brian Harris leads the Deery Brothers Summer Se­ries standings heading into Friday, Sept. 13 and Saturday, Sept. 14 shows. Chateau’s Border War special pays $1,000 to IMCA Stock Car winner

LANSING, Minn. (Sept. 9) – The IMCA Sunoco Stock Car winner at Chateau Raceway’s Border War spe­cial earns $1,000 for their Friday, Sept. 13 efforts. A minimum of $75 will be paid to start. IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National, Arnold Motor Supply Northern Region and Allstar Performance State points will be awarded. Entry fee for the draw/redraw show is $25 and pit passes are $30. Grandstand admission is $15 for adults, $5 for kids ages 6-12 and free for five and under. Cogburn captures Southern SportMod Nationals crown

WACO, Texas (Sept. 7) – It took two days of heat races, ‘B’ features and qualifying features before local driver, Chris Cogburn thrilled the crowd by winning the Southern SportMod Nationals Saturday night at Heart O’ Texas Speedway. The win was good for $3,000. G.W. Egbert settled for second and Dean Abbey rounded out the top three in the ninth annual special for Scoggin-Dickey Parts Center Southern SportMods.
