IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Cars salute the troops at South Texas

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas (May 17, 2024) – South Texas Race Ranch salutes those who have and those who are now defending the freedoms we hold near and dear on Saturday, May 25. IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Cars chase a top prize of $1,200 at the long-running Salute to the Troops special during the upcoming Memorial Weekend. A minimum of $320 will be paid to start that event and IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National and Texas State points will be awarded. Draw fee is $30. Pit passes are $35, or $15 for 6-12 and free for five and under. Spectator admission is $20 for adults, $15 for seniors and military, and free for kids 12 and under. Pit gates open at 2 p.m. and the grandstand opens at 5 p.m. Hot laps are at 6 p.m. and racing is at 7 p.m.

Big payday awaits IMCA Northern SportMods at Southern Oregon’s R. Charles Snyder Salute

MEDFORD, Ore. (May 17, 2024) – Southern Oregon Speedway pays tribute to a former track announcer and James Bond fan at the R. Charles Snyder Salute May 25 and 26. Friesen Performance IMCA Northern SportMods run for $7,007 to win and a minimum of $707 to start at the sixth annual special, while Friesen Performance IMCA Modifieds vie for $3,007 to win and Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational qualifying eligibility. Qualifying for both divisions begins Saturday, with last-chance races and main events on Sunday. BRITT, Iowa (May 8, 2024) – The stars of IMCA’s Northern SportMod division will shine the brightest next Monday night at The Home of the Stars, Hancock County Speedway. Friesen Performance IMCA Northern SportMods race for $2,000 to win and a minimum of $200 to start their May 13 Spring Fling Nationals main event. Sunday Governor’s Cup show starts 31st IMCA season at Dawson County

LEXINGTON, Neb. (May 3, 2024) – It’s two days before the 31st opening night event under the IMCA banner and things are understandably a little hectic … in a good way … at Dawson County Raceway. The first green flag flies at approximately 6 p.m. Sunday for the first of five race programs this season at the Lexington oval. PASS heads back to Port Royal this Saturday

(April 18, 2024) – The River Valley Builders Pennsylvania Sprint Series batting average has dropped to .333 after a second postponement in three 2024 tries, so it’s up to Port Royal Speedway to successfully negotiate with Mother Nature and get things back on track this Saturday night. PASSIMCA RaceSaver Sprint Car teams are set to join 410 sprints and super late models for a sure-to-be-wild, hope-to-be-dry show at Port Royal. This past Friday night’s Spring Sprint Spectacular at Williams Grove Speedway fell victim to soggy conditions and the likelihood of high winds. The PASS tour is scheduled to race at the Grove next on Friday, May 24. In the meantime, Port Royal looms large, with two programs in the next three weeks. CHILLICOTHE, Ohio (April 10, 2024) – IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Car teams and fans will remember one of their own when Atomic Speedway hosts the inaugural East Coast Nationals Chad Hyatt Memorial. The Saturday, April 20 Ohio Thunder IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Series main event at Chillicothe pays $3,500 to win and a minimum of $300 to start.
