Yoshimura adds $5,000 to podium finishes at 10 IMCA STARS Mod Lite special events

CHINO, Calif. – A podium finish at 10 of the biggest IMCA STARS Mod Lite events on the 2021 schedule pays off big-time courtesy of Yoshimura Racing. The Chino, Calif., manufacturer and new national events sponsor for the division gives $5,000 throughout the season, to top three finishers at designated events. Feature winners of those 10 races earn $250, with $150 paid for second and $100 for third. The first bonuses will be given at Winter Nationals events Feb. 6 at Bubba Raceway Park and Feb. 13 at Hendry County Motorsports Park in Florida. Shaw Race Cars marks decade of title sponsorship in IMCA’s Western Region

BATESVILLE, Ark. – Shaw Race Cars marks a decade of title sponsorship support for Modified drivers competing in IMCA’s Western Region. The Batesville, Ark., chassis builder provides a portion of the point fund to be paid to top 10 drivers in regional point standings again this season. Shaw was purchased by Scott and Marlene Mosley in July of 2019, with veteran Jeff Taylor brought in to provide his considerable technical expertise. BAY CITY, Mich. – IMCA Modified special events competitors chase awards from Brinn Transmission for a 19th season. Top five finishers at 30 designated IMCA Modified specials receive $50 product certificates. All 150 of those drivers will be entered in a random drawing, with the winner receiving a new transmission from the Bay City, Mich., manufacturer. Brinn begins the second year of a three-year pact that continues through a second decade of sponsorship and includes IMCA’s biggest event.
