Performance Bodies adds more awards for IMCA Modifieds, Stock Cars, Hobby Stocks

CEDAR FALLS, Iowa – Performance Bodies expands its already substantial IMCA program this season, with additional awards for Modified, Stock Car and Hobby Stock drivers. The Cedar Falls, Iowa, high performance automotive parts distributor and race car body manufacturer gives more than $25,000 in product awards and gift cards to drivers in seven sanctioned divisions in its 36th year as an IMCA sponsor. “Performance Bodies is proud to be a sponsor of IMCA for over 36 years. Performance Bodies, Five Star continue award option for IMCA Modified, SportMod drivers

CEDAR FALLS, Iowa – A popular option to the Performance Bodies and Five Star Bodies awards program for IMCA Modifieds, Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMods and Smiley’s Racing Products Southern SportMods has been renewed for 2018. Each of the five Modified regional champions and rookies of the year, and both Northern and Southern SportMod national champions and the rookies of the year receive MD3 Modified nosepieces or MD3 Modified valance and rocker panel kits. Certificates will be presented during the national awards banquet or mailed beginning the following week from the IMCA home office. IMCA Modified, SportMod drivers chase Bob Harris Enterprises special event awards

AMES, Iowa – Bob Harris Enterprises has renewed a special events awards package for three IMCA divisions. The Ames, Iowa, company gives two free shock rebuilds to top 10 finishers at each of 30 IMCA Modified specials, and at 15 Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMod and Smiley’s Racing Products Southern SportMod specials. A random drawing will be held following the regular point season to award Race Tech Info Dirt Chassis School packages to a driver in each division. Big Daddy Race Cars continues dual IMCA Hobby Stock regional title role

NORFOLK, Neb. – Big Daddy Race Cars does double duty in support of the IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stock division again this season, returning as title sponsor for both Northern and Southern regions. 2018 will be the fifth year of title sponsorship by Big Daddy in the North and its second in the South. Larry Shaw Race Cars returning as IMCA Western Region title sponsor

BATESVILLE, Ark. – Defending Manufacturers’ Cup champion Larry Shaw Race Cars returns this season as title sponsor of IMCA’s Western Region for Modifieds. The Batesville, Ark., chassis builder again provides a portion of the $6,000 point fund to be paid to top 10 drivers in official standings for that region, which includes tracks in Arizona, California, western Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, northern New Mexico, Oregon, Utah and Wyoming. The champion earns $2,500, with $1,250 for second, $625 for third, $325 for fourth and $300 for fifth. Sixth through 10th place finishers each receive $200. ABBOTT, Texas – The Texas company synonymous with IMCA’s Sport Compact division returns in 2018 for an eighth consecutive season as title sponsor of the 4-cylinder class.
