Friesen Performance awards crate engines to three IMCA national rookies of the year
SUTTON, Neb. – Friesen Performance will power the sophomore seasons of three of IMCA’s 2017 national rookies of the year. The top first-year Modified driver receives a 604 crate engine while top Northern SportMod and Hobby Stock rookies both receive 602 crate engines from the Sutton, Neb., dealership. Rookie drivers in all three divisions must display two Friesen Performance decals on their race car to be eligible. Engine awards will be presented during the IMCA national banquet in November. “Friesen Performance is proud to sponsor the IMCA Rookie of the Year Awards for 2017,” said Performance Sales Manager Al Walters. “We’ve supported IMCA since crate engines were introduced and have given away engines in the past to help racers.
