IMCA Modified, Late Model drivers vie for Sweet steering boxes again in 2017

KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The manufacturer of the official steering box of IMCA returns to its very integral role in contingency awards programs for two divisions in 2017. Champions in each of the five Modified regions and the top driver in national Late Model point standings all earn steering boxes from Sweet Manufacturing. Second through fifth place finishers in each Modified region receive $50 gift certificates. Mach-1 Racing Solutions returns in 2017 as title sponsor for IMCA Sport Compacts

ABBOTT, Texas – Mach-1 Racing Solutions returns for a seventh consecutive season as title sponsor of IMCA’s Sport Compact division. KELLEY, Iowa – New marketing partner Tire Demon by Love Tap gave its first award at the IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s. Modified champion Ricky Thornton Jr. received a tire prep stand from the Kelley manufacturer and retailer. Owned by Tim Love, Tire Demon will give $500 gift certificates at a total of 60 special events for IMCA Modifieds, Stock Cars and SportMods in 2017. Love originally designed the tire prep stand for a 70-something friend of his father’s. “The design essentially takes the work out of prepping a tire.
