$1K IMCA Modified feature at Thunderbird complements salute to veterans, fireworks

MUSKEGON, Mich. – A $1,000 to win IMCA Modified feature event complements the Saturday salute to veterans and lots of fireworks at Thunderbird Raceway.  There is no entry fee for the July 11 Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot qualifier at Muskegon and IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National, Dirt Works Eastern Region, KMJ Perfor­mance State and track points will be awarded.  Pit gates open at 3 p.m. and the grandstand opens at 4:30 p.m. with hot laps at 5 p.m. and racing at 6:30 p.m.  Pit passes are $30. Spectator admission is $12 for adults, $10 for seniors 60 years and over and $5 for kids ages 6-11. 300 Raceway pays $1,000 to June 24 IMCA Modified winner

FARLEY, Iowa – IMCA Modifieds race for $1,000 to win and a Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot berth next Wednesday, June 24 at 300 Raceway. Cen-Pe-Co sponsors the evening’s program, which also features a $250 Sunoco bonus for IMCA Sunoco Late Models, as well as IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars and Karl Kustoms Northern SportMods. Tradingpaints.com adds to the IMCA Modified purse. Dodge City Raceway Park returns to racing this Saturday

By Lonnie Wheatley DODGE CITY, Kan. – At long last, the roar of high horsepower racecars will again fill the air at Dodge City Raceway Park as the 3/8-mile clay oval in southwest Kansas fires back into action for the first time in 2020 this Saturday night. After being put on hold for several weeks due to COVID-19 restrictions, the track is now back in action and expecting a large crowd for Saturday night’s opener that gets under way at 7:30 p.m. Saturday’s tilt is headlined by the Hobby Stock Roundup that offers up a $750 winner’s share in the IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stock ranks with $75 to start the feature. The event also includes the opening round of championship chase action for the Hambelton Racing DCRP Sprint Cars, IMCA Modifieds, IMCA SportMods and IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars.  Admission to Saturday’s Hobby Stock Roundup is $12 for adults with children ages 11 and under free when accompanied by an adult.  Detailed schedule information is available at https://www.dodgecityraceway.com/schedule/.

IMCA Modifieds chase $1,500 check at I-30’s Scrapp Fox Memorial

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – IMCA Modifieds race for $1,500 to win and a Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot berth at I-30 Speedway’s Saturday, June 20 Scrapp Fox Memorial.  IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National, Jet Racing Central Region, Arkansas State and track points are also at stake at the 18th annual event.  The $50 entry fee includes the driver’s pit pass if paid by June 19. Pit passes are $30 on race day and spectator admission is $15 for adults, $1 for kids ages 6-12 and free for ages five and under. Dodge City Raceway Park practice this Sunday

By Lonnie Wheatley  DODGE CITY, Kan. – With the opening weekend of racing action at Dodge City Raceway Park little more than one week away, the track will host an open practice this Sunday, June 14. Sunday’s practice session will get under way at 5 p.m. and continue until 9 p.m.  Practice sessions will take place upon both the 3/8-mile clay oval and the 1/7-mile Little DCRP clay oval.  Pit gates open at 3 p.m. with general admission gates open at 3 p.m.   Pit admission is $20 per person with admission to the grandstands free. Weekly racers ready to go Friday at U.S. 36 Raceway

OSBORN, Mo. – Between rainouts and special events at U.S. 36 Raceway, a month has passed since the weekly competitors at all competed on the same night.  Friday, June 12, the weekly racers ready to challenge the high banks once again. RPM hosts Hughes Memorial Sunflower Classic June 13, 14

HAYS, Kan. – IMCA Modifieds and touring IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Cars chase $1,000 top checks both nights of RPM Speedway’s June 13-14 Mike Hughes Memorial Sunflower Classic.  A minimum of $125 will be paid to start each Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot qualifying fea­ture for the Modifieds. Both Sprint Car features are United Rebel Sprint Series Tour events. Saturday and Sunday features for IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars pay $400 to win. IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks and Karl Kustoms Northern SportMods both race for $300 to win, Mach-1 Sport Compacts for $200 to win. Both shows are draw/redraw and racing starts at 5 p.m. each day. Budweiser Shootout Friday at U.S. 36

OSBORN, Mo. – This Friday, June 5, is the Budweiser Shootout at U.S. 36 Raceway. The Sprint Series of Nebraska headlines the event. IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars are also racing.  The Sprint Series of Nebraska pays $700 to win and $250 to start. Season opener tonight at Buena Vista Raceway

ALTA, Iowa – Pit gates and the grandstand open at 5 p.m. today (Wednesday) for the season opener at Buena Vista Raceway.
