Quad City’s rescheduled Reinhart Memorial is this Sunday

EAST MOLINE, Ill. (June 2) – First place in the IMCA Xtreme Motor Sports Modified feature pays $1,500 at Quad City Speedway’s Sunday, June 7 Gary Reinhart Memorial. The 22nd annual special is a 2015 Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot qualifier and was rescheduled due to inclement weather from May 24. The main event pays a minimum of $125 to start. IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National, Belleville Motorsports North Central Region, Allstar Performance State and local track points will be awarded for the draw/redraw show. Pit gates at East Moline open at 3 p.m. and the grandstand opens at 3:30 p.m. The draw ends and the drivers’ meeting starts at 5 p.m. Hot laps are at 5:15 p.m. with racing to follow. Salina Speedway offers special ticket opportunity to Bombers fans

By Dusty Wiegert SALINA, Kan. (March 29) – Today’s news spread fast that the Salina Bombers were closing their doors early this season and dissolving the team effective immediately. As a result of the final home game this season being canceled (May 30), the Salina Speedway will offer one free adult grandstand admission to any fan presenting a ticket to that game when arriving at the speedway ticket window on Friday, June 5. The night’s racing program will feature the BSB Manufacturing NeSmith Late Models, 1st Class Chassis IMCA Modifieds, Coors Light IMCA Stock Cars, Xtreme Motor Sports IMCA Northern SportMods, Auto House Mod Lites, and Budweiser IMCA Hobby Stocks. Admission prices are $10 for adults, while kids 15 and under are always free. Seniors also get a discount of $5, while all military, both current and retired, also always get in free. Pit passes are $25. Pit gates open at 5 p.m. with grandstand gates opening at 5:30 p.m. Cars hit the track for hot laps at 7:15 p.m. with racing to follow.

BYERS, Colo. – Three sanctioned divisions see their first action of the season at Colorado Motorsports Park in Byers this Friday, June 5. Culminating a five-year rebuilding project, the lidlifter for Xtreme Motor Sports IMCA Modifieds, IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars and Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMods sees racing start at 7 p.m. Pit gates open at 3 p.m., hot laps are at 5 p.m. and the grandstand opens at 5 p.m. Grandstand admission is $12 for adults, $10 for seniors and military, $5 for kids ages 6-12 and free for five and under. Pit passes are $30 for adults, $20 for kids and free for four and under. Eight race dates are to be held on the 1/3-mile dirt oval this season. Modified points earned at Colorado Motor Sports Park figure toward Jet Racing Central Region standings. Stock Car points apply in the EQ Cylinder Heads Northern Region.

IMCA Rebel Run specials slated June 5, 6 at Gallatin, Billings

BILLINGS, Mont. – A pair of Rebel Run specials in Montana gives IMCA Xtreme Motor Sports Modified drivers two chances to race their way onto the Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot. The Friday, June 5 opening night event at Gallatin Speedway pays $1,000 to win and a minimum of $75 to start. On Saturday, June 6, the top prize is $1,500 with a minimum of $100 paid to start at Billings Motorsports Park, making the weekend one of the top-paying combinations in Montana this season. IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National, Larry Shaw Racing Western Region, Allstar Performance State and local track points will be awarded each night. Jamestown hosts IMCA Modifieds this Saturday

JAMESTOWN, N.D. – Jamestown Speedway rolls out the red carpet this Saturday, June 6 for the first of five appearances this season by IMCA Xtreme Motor Sports Modifieds on the ¼-mile high-banked clay oval. The feature pays $500 to win. IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National, Belleville Motorsports North Central Region and Allstar Performance State Points will be awarded. “We like bringing the IMCA Modifieds here because it gives our fans a chance to see popular drivers they know and remember but don’t get to see race often,” said promoter Tim Baldwin. SPENCER, Iowa (May 29) – Friday night is IMCA Race Night at the Clay County Fair Speedway. Three dates announced for Dominick Bruns Memorial Challenge Cup Chase

DANUBE, Minn. – IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars will race for $1,000 to win on each of three Dominick Bruns Memorial Challenge Cup Chase dates. Jackson Speedway hosts the opening night show on Saturday, May 30. The Chase is at Murray County Speedway in Slayton on Friday, July 17 and at Redwood Speedway in Redwood Falls on Sunday, July 26. With only one race in the books so far, on May 1, Mother Nature has prevailed each of the last two weekends. Anticipation from race fans and race teams have prompted track officials to do everything in their power to get people back on track as the season hopes to now set in full swing.
