IMCA Late Models will make for a Super Sunday May 1 at The Bullring

VINTON, Iowa (April 25, 2022) – Opening night is taking on a “super” look at Benton County Speedway. After wet weather forced the delay of Sunday’s season opener, IMCA Sunoco Late Models will join the show Sunday, May 1 for the first Super Sunday event of the season at The Bullring. In the first of two appearances for the division this season, Late Models will vie for a $1,000 winner’s share Sunday night. The Bullring is back in business this Sunday

VINTON, Iowa (April 18, 2022) – Opening night of the 2022 season is slated for this Sunday, April 24, at Benton County Speedway. Friesen Performance IMCA Modifieds presented by 96.5 KISS Country, IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars, IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks presented by Kwik Star, Friesen Performance IMCA Northern SportMods presented by Christie Door Company, and Mach-1 IMCA Sport Compacts all make their return to weekly competition starting Sunday. Grandstand admission is $13 for adults, $11 for seniors and veterans, and $5 for kids ages 6-14. Kids five and under are admitted free when accompanied by a paid adult. Pit passes are $30. Both grandstand and pit gates open at 4 p.m., with hot laps scheduled for 5:30 and racing at 6. Davenport opens April 22 with $1,000 to win features for IMCA Modifieds, IMCA Late Models

DAVENPORT, Iowa (April 14, 2022) – Friesen Performance IMCA Modifieds and IMCA Sunoco Late Models both race for $1,000 to win in the regular season opener next Friday, April 22 at Davenport Speedway. The Modified winner becomes eligible to qualify for the Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational; Friesen Performance IMCA Northern SportMods are also on the card as pit gates open at 4 p.m. and the grandstand opens at 5 p.m. Hot laps are at 6:30 p.m. with racing to follow.  Pits passes are $30. Grandstand admission is adults $12, kids ages 5-10 $5 and four and under free.

Dacotah Speedway gears up for 2022 season

(April 6, 2022) – Dacotah Speedway is getting ready for its 2022 season.   “We have a lot of big things planned for 2022,” said Sales and Promotions Director Jane Link. “We have a lot of big races planned as well as special guests. We are pretty excited to have John Schneider, the actor who played Bo Duke on Dukes of Hazzard, racing with us on Friday, June 10.” Schneider will be headlining many Mandan events June 10-12 as he will be racing amongst local drivers on Friday, June 10 at the Dacotah Speedway. Easter Eggstravaganza sees five IMCA divisions at Cocopah

SOMERTON, Ariz. (April 4, 2022) – IMCA Modifieds top the Easter Eggstravaganza at Cocopah Speedway April 9, running for $1,000 to win along with Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational qualifying eligibility.  Completing the Saturday night card will be IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars and IMCA Northern SportMods in $500 to win features, while IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks run for $400 to win and Mach-1 Sport Compacts chase a $250 top prize.  IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National, regional, KMJ Performance State and track points will be awarded. There is no entry fee and pit passes are $35. Pit gates open at 3 p.m., the grandstand opens at 5 p.m. and racing starts at 7 p.m. Spectator admission is $15 for adults, $12 for seniors and military, and free for kids ages 12 and under. Crystal preps for 35th IMCA Modified season with test and tune this weekend

CRYSTAL, Mich. (April 4, 2022) – With spring in the air, Crystal Motor Speedway is preparing for the 2022 season, its 35th consecutive running the IMCA Modified division.  Test and tune for any race car will be held Saturday and Sunday, April 9 and 10 from noon-5 p.m. Pit passes will be $20 with free admission to the grandstands.   The race season will begin April 16 with a full show for all divisions.  Gates open at 4 p.m. and racing will start approximately at 7:30 p.m. Pit passes are $30, grandstand tickets are $15 for adults, and kids 5-11 are $5. US 36 Raceway practice moved to Sunday

OSBORN, Mo. (March 31, 2022) – The US 36 Raceway practice scheduled for Saturday, April 2 has been moved to Sunday, April 3 from 1-5 p.m.  Better weather is in the forecast for Sunday, said track officials, and the extra day will also allow more time for track prep.

US 36 Raceway opens for practice this Sunday

OSBORN, Mo. (March 22, 2022) –  The roar of the engines can be heard this Sunday, March 27 at US 36 Raceway as the Missouri speedplant kicks off 2022 with the first of two open practice days.  Pit passes are $25 for adults and $10 for kids 12 and under; grandstand admission is free.  The second of two practice days will be April 2, also from 1-5 p.m. with pit admission the same as for the first practice session.

Benton County Speedway car show set for April 2

VINTON, Iowa (March 16, 2022) – An old tradition is returning for race fans of The Bullring. What used to be an annual event to kick off the season at Benton County Speedway, the annual car show on the streets of downtown Vinton is making its return. Sponsored and hosted by Ron Da Voo Lounge and Deli, competitors at The Bullring are invited to put their cars on display from noon-4 p.m. on 1st Ave Saturday, April 2. Prizes will be awarded in each of the six weekly divisions scheduled to compete this season – IMCA-sanctioned Modifieds, Stock Cars, Hobby Stocks, Northern SportMods and Sport Compacts, plus Legends. A Best of Show award is sponsored by Lil Racer Car Club. MORTON, Minn. (March 9, 2022) – More than 300 people attended the 2021 Arlington Raceway awards banquet March 5 at Jackpot Junction Casino Hotel.
