Phillips County getting down ‘n dirty in 2022

HOLYOKE, Colo. – 2022 gets down and dirty at Phillips County Raceway in Holyoke, Colo., as BST Promotions presents your 2022 PCR race season. Phillips County Raceway breaks the front for our season-opening Spring Fling on April 16 featuring the first show of the season for IMCA Modifieds, IMCA Sunoco Stock Car, IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks, IMCA Northern SportMods and Mach-1 Sport Compacts.  Memorial Day Weekend will be the first race of the season for the Colorado Alliance Tour as seven divisions battle in a winner takes all tour of Colorado’s best race tracks. July is action-packed with four dates, including a doubleheader July 8 and 9. Night two is Fan Appreciation Night with the Mid-Season Showdown on July 23 and the Phillips County Fair on July 29.  In August, PCR will host the CAT Crown as the CAT Tour comes to a close and crowns its champion on Aug. 21. El Paso County Raceway primed for April 23 opening night

CALHAN, Colo. – BST Promotions is excited to bring the 2022 IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Race Season to El Paso County Raceway for yet another year of the fastest dirt track racing in the area. Starting Saturday, April 23 and running until Sept. 24, the 2022 EPCR race season is full of action. Heat races will start at 5 p.m. and the fast-paced main events will run from 7-10 p.m. Regular race programs feature IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars, IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stock, IMCA Northern SportMods and Mach-1 Sport Compacts. Racing action returns to the high banks of US 36 Raceway

By Rick Staley  OSBORN, Mo. – Exciting racing action like none other roars back on the beautiful high banks of US 36 Raceway tonight (Friday) with IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Cars, IMCA Modifieds, IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars and Karl Kustoms Northern Sport Mods on the Aug. 27 program.  The HWY 36 Auto and Diesel Shocker Chassis Shootout is this Friday Night as well with Mich Ross, Rickie Bobby, Shadren Turner, Nate Barnes, Carson Masoner and JJ Baumli ready to compete. IMCA Modifieds, Late Models chasing $1,000 top checks at US 30 Speedway

COLUMBUS, Neb. – IMCA Modifieds and IMCA Sunoco Late Models both race for $1,000 to win on season championship night Thursday, Aug. 26 at US 30 Speedway.  The Modified feature is a Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational qualifier and is sponsored by Westring Trucking of Humphrey. L & M Steel Co. LLC of Newman Grove provides the extra money for the Late Models.  Completing the race program are IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars, Karl Kustoms Northern SportMods and IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks.  Pit gates open at 5 p.m. and the grandstand opens at 6 p.m. Hot laps are at 7:15 p.m. with racing at 8 p.m.  Grandstand admission is $15 for adults, $6 for kids and free for five and under. IMCA Stock Cars chase $750 payday Friday at Boyd

BOYD, Texas – IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars run for $750 to win and B & B Chassis All-Star Invitational qualifying eligibility this Friday at Boyd Raceway. IMCA Modifieds, Smiley’s Racing Products Southern SportMods and Mach-1 Sport Compacts round out the Aug. 20 card. Gates open at 6 p.m. and racing starts at 8 p.m. Pit passes are $35 and adult grandstand admission is $18.

Kids’ Night tonight at US 36 Raceway

By Rick Staley  OSBORN, Mo. (Aug. 6) – More than $1,000 in change will be dropped on the front stretch of US 36 Raceway for kids to grab tonight (Friday). Bring out the entire family for a night of fun and racing excitement like no other with free loaded backpacks to get the kids ready for back to school.  Always Family First is the theme at US 36 Raceway with fans donating school supplies and Jon and Beth Boller donating the backpacks. Thanks to Matthew and Maggie at X Factor Motorsports, Section B at Lakeside Speedway, fans, TC Fabrication and Repair, Slow Kid Motorsports, Judy Staley Photography and others who donated.  IMCA Modifieds, IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars and Karl Kustoms Northern SportMods are on tonight’s race program.

Points battles continue Sunday at Benton County

VINTON, Iowa – With only three nights of weekly racing remaining on the 2021 schedule, points races are heating up at Benton County Speedway. Those battles will continue Sunday, August 8 at The Bullring. No more than five points separate the top drivers in the KISS Country 96.5 IMCA Modifieds, IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars presented by Albert Auto Service, IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks presented by Kwik Star and Mach-1 IMCA Sport Compacts presented by Auto Crafters. The largest division lead is a mere 14 points in the Karl Kustoms IMCA Northern SportMods presented by Christie Door Company.  Gates open at 4 p.m. and grandstand at 4:30, with hot laps scheduled for 5:30 and racing at 6. Grandstand admission is $16 for adults, $14 for seniors and veterans, and $5 for children ages 6-14. Kids ages five and under are admitted free when accompanied by a paid adult. Pit passes are $30. Big money, great cause highlight August 1 program at Benton County Speedway

VINTON, Iowa – The final month of weekly points racing at Benton County Speedway will kick off in grand fashion Sunday, August 1. Increased prize money in all five weekly divisions highlight Racing for Autism Night at The Bullring. A $1,250 winner’s share and a Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational qualifying berth are on the line in the KISS Country 96.5 IMCA Modifieds. A cool $1,000 will go to the winner of the Karl Kustoms IMCA Northern SportMods presented by Christie Door Company. No ‘June Swoon’ for Cade Richards

By Greg Svoboda LINCOLN, Neb. – After some bad luck back in May, including when the rear end housing on his Karl Kustoms Northern SportMod broke sidelining that part of his racing program, things turned around for Cade Richards as soon as the calendar page turned to June. His series of good IMCA Sunoco Stock Car runs began on June 3 when he brought home a clean sweep of the card at US 30 Speedway, winning his heat from the third row and getting the win in the main event after taking off in fourth. “It was a good night. It seems like we’re getting a good cushion there now,” he said. “We think we’ve pretty much got it figured out what the track is going to do, and we’ve been really fast there lately.” The following night the team towed to Beatrice Speedway.
