Tafoya Dominates Opening Night of Thaw Brawl at Aztec Speedway

(Mar. 28, 2025) — The opening night of the Inaugural Thaw Brawl kicked off Aztec Speedway’s 73rd racing season, and Regan Tafoya wasted no time asserting his dominance in the Friesen Performance IMCA Modified main event. Tafoya, a six-time Aztec Speedway champion and three-time New Mexico State titleholder, took control at the drop of the green and never looked back. Bowling Claims Second Win of 2025 Season at Lavonia

LAVONIA, Ga. (Mar. 22, 2025) — It was a picture-perfect evening at Lavonia Speedway as the Carolina Sprint Tour presented by GSR Chassis took to the track for an exciting night of racing in front of an almost sold-out crowd. The night featured a talented field of 18 drivers from six states and three different countries, all vying for victory in the second race of the 2025 season. Moore Steals Wimp Reed Spring Nationals Opener in Final Laps Thriller

(Mar. 28, 2025) — The opening night of the Wimp Reed Spring Nationals at Batesville Motor Speedway delivered a dramatic finish in the 31-lap, $1,500-to-win Friesen Performance IMCA Modified feature. The race, held in memory of longtime tech man and former driver Wimp Reed, came down to a near last-lap move by Jonesboro 17-year-old Grayson Moore. It is his first win in the Jet Racing Central Region this year. John Waugh led the opening lap before Brandon Smith charged into the lead. A fierce battle for second between Ashton Wilkey and Waugh allowed Moore to make a slick double pass and jump to second. Smith pulled away up front until a lap 11 caution slowed the field. Carter Sweeps Modified and Stock Car Features at Southern Iowa Frostout Opener

By Ben Deatherage BLOOMFIELD, Iowa (Mar. 28, 2025) — Oskaloosa’s Cayden Carter had a flawless opening night at Bloomfield Speedway, sweeping both the Friesen Performance IMCA Modified and Sunoco IMCA Stock Car features during the first night of the Southern Iowa Frostout. Each win was worth $1,250 on the 3/8-mile oval at the Davis County Fairgrounds. In the Friesen Performance IMCA Modified main, eight-time reigning Hancock County Speedway track champion Jeremy Mills took command at the green flag before Tripp Gaylord powered into the lead on lap two. Gaylord, the defending Marshalltown Speedway champion and Colorado native now living in Iowa, held strong out front while fending off challenges. Burke Battles from Eighth to Win IMCA Modified Opener at Ocean

By Steven Blakesley WATSONVILLE, Calif. (Mar. 28, 2025) — Cody Burke of Salinas drove from the eighth starting position to win the season opening 25-lap Friesen Performance IMCA Modified feature. Robert Marsh of Salinas fended off some tough customers for the first half of the event. A caution for both Jonathan Hagio and Kyle Bryan each in separate spins, set up the key restart for Burke. Burke drove inside Marsh on the backstretch to take the lead on lap 15. Bobby Hogge followed him into second as well. Hogge hounded Burke to no avail over the final ten laps. Weekend Races at I-37 Speedway and HOT Speedway Rained Out — STIMS Racing Update

We regret to inform our fans, teams, and supporters that both races scheduled for this weekend at I-37 Speedway and HOT Speedway have been cancelled due to rain. Given the number of travelers planning to attend, and after speaking earlier with HOT Speedway promoter Selby Holder, we’ve mutually agreed that STIMS Racing will not run a show tomorrow night in Waco. We believe this is the best decision for everyone involved. Both events will be rescheduled, and we will announce the new dates as soon as possible. Our next event is scheduled for April 26th at Texana Raceway Park. We look forward to seeing everyone there for a great night of racing!

Bender Blazes to Victory at Casa Grande

(Mar. 22, 2025) — Collin Bender delivered a dominant performance in the Stealth Racing IMCA STARS Mod Lite main event at Central Arizona Raceway, charging from eighth to the lead in just two laps around the 3/8-mile oval to secure his first win of the 2025 season. Defending Arizona State champion Michael Phay led the early circuits, but Bender wasted no time carving his way to the front. On lap two, he executed a daring double pass in turn two and quickly closed in on Phay. By turn three, Bender completed the move to take over the top spot. Once in command, Bender faced two caution periods, but each time he proved unfazed. On the final restart, which came on lap 8, the Chandler native pulled away to a commanding lead and cruised to the checkered flag. Bryan McCauley finished second, with Braeden Ward rounding out the podium in third.

Allen Sweeps Southern Raceway Weekend with IMCA Modified Doubleheader

(Mar. 22, 2025) — Tyler Allen was unbeatable at Southern Raceway over the weekend, sweeping both Friesen Performance IMCA Modified features at the 3/8-mile West Florida oval. The Navarre native opened and doubled his DeVilbiss Racing Eastern Region win tally with two dominant performances. In Saturday’s 20-lap main event, David Seffens set the early pace out front. Allen wasted little time, charging from sixth to second in just two laps before getting behind the leader’s back bumper. Seffens slipped up and got sideways in front of the field, forcing Allen to make a split-second move to avoid contact. In the chaos, third-running Jonathan Joiner was collected, and Allen emerged with the lead. The evening recognized driver achievements, community involvement, and marked the transition into the 2025 racing season. Perfect Attendance Awards were presented to 58 dedicated drivers who participated in every event during the season. Manning Flips, Then Flies to Victory in Bill & Shirley Memorial at Mohave Valley

(Mar. 22, 2025) — It was a wild night for Gavyn Manning at Mohave Valley Raceway, as the Bakersfield, California driver went from flipping early in the night during hot laps to standing in victory lane after winning the $2,000-to-win 5th Annual Bill & Shirley Memorial.
