BRAINERD, Minn. – Nearly 200 drivers from close to home and from across the country are already planning to be part of the richest week in history for IMCA Modified and IMCA Sunoco Stock Car drivers in Minnesota.  The Land of Ten Thousand Lakes 10K starts with $5,000 to win features Thursday, June 24 at Princeton Speedway’s fourth annual Bill Siercks Memorial and Friday, June 25 at North Central Speedway in Brainerd. Whitman is a hit at 141’s IMCA Clash at the Creek

FRANCIS CREEK, Wis. (June 17) – The IMCA Modified driver they call ‘The Hitman’ was a big hit with his 141 Speedway fans Thursday night.  Johnny Whitman took the lead following a lap 10 restart and led Mike Mullen around the oval at Francis Creek the last 40 green flag, lightning fast times around the track in taking the $10,000 Clash at the Creek win.  “I’ve been wanting to do this for 13 years,” he said from victory lane. “It’s crazy, the amount of competition that’s here. I didn’t know if my car was good enough to keep up with them but we got it done.”  Pole starter Josh Long was a distant third as home state drivers ran 1-2-3. Hancock County Speedway hosts June 22 SportMod Nationals

BRITT, Iowa – Hancock County Speedway’s MaxYield Seed SportMod Nationals bring Karl Kustoms Northern SportMods to Britt for a $2,500 to win main event Tuesday, June 22. The feature pays a minimum of $300 to take the green and 24 cars make up the field for the 30-lapper. Two $250 mystery position bonuses will be awarded; entry fee is $75.  IMCA Modifieds, IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars, IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks and Mach-1 Sport Compacts are also on the card. All divisions are draw/redraw and transponders can be rented for $20.  Pit gates open at 5 p.m. and the grandstand opens at 6 p.m. Hot laps are at 7 p.m. and racing starts at 7:30 p.m. Pit passes are $35. IMCA Super Nationals gets even bigger, better with STARS Mod Lites, new Stock Car All-Star Invitational

BOONE, Iowa – The IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s gets bigger and even better, with both STARS Mod Lites and the B & B Chassis All-Star Invitational for Stock Cars added to the schedule for the 39th annual event. By dividing Boone Speedway’s Prelude special into two days, STARS Mod Lites will crown the first champion of Super Nationals on Sunday, Sept. 5. Group time trials for Stock Car drivers eligible to qualify will be Wednesday, Sept. 8 with the inaugural All-Star Invitational Thursday, Sept. 9. “Every Super Nationals is unique. Three RaceSaver series run Saturday at Hagerstown

HAGERSTOWN, Md. – The Pennsylvania Sprint Series will join two other IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Car series this Saturday night for a Father’s Day Weekend special program at Hagerstown Speedway.  PASS, the host Virginia Sprint Series and the Laurel Highlands Sprint Series will vie for supremacy June 19 on the half-mile track alongside Conococheague Creek in Washington County, Md.  Four weeks ago, PASS regular Dave Grube invaded a VSS/LHSS co-sanctioned race at Hagerstown and came away with the victory. An earlier RaceSaver date was rained out.  In 2019, VSS stalwart Jerald Harris was a winner, along with former PASS drivers Zach Newlin and Scott Ellerman.  A large field of cars is expected Saturday, including Grube and the last two IMCA RaceSaver national champions, Ken Duke and Garrett Bard. Sachau, Murty, Purdy are dynamic at Stuart

By Josh Reynolds STUART, Iowa (June 16) – Jake Sachau, Dallon Murty and Jeremy Purdy were all dynamic on night two of the Dynamic Drivelines Dirt Duel at Stuart Speedway.  Karl Kustoms Northern SportMods were the first Dirt Duel feature on the track with Brayton Carter and Dylan VanWyk leading the field to green. VanWyk led early until Carter slid by to take the lead a third of the way through the 35-lap event. Carter held it through a several yellows before Sachau used a restart to take the lead on lap 25. Carter gave it his all but Sachau was too strong as he went on to the $2,500 win.
