
Uehling rules Off Road IMCA Hobby Stock feature

(May 18, 2024) – Half a car length made the difference between a W and second-place in Saturday’s IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stock feature at Off Road Speedway. In the closest race of the night, Uehling edged Jason Wilkinson at the flag stand by a half-car length for a win. Uehling, who started on the outside of row one, led all 15 laps with Wilkinson in pursuit the entire race. The pair repeatedly pulled away from the field, even following a caution with just six laps remaining, and Wilkinson increased the pressure each of the final trips around the track. Wilkinson closed the gap coming out of turn four the last time around, then pulled alongside Uehling briefly on the backstretch but would get no closer than Uehling’s door as the cars passed the flag stand. Pole-sitter Trevor Frisch out-dueled a number of contenders to secure third place.
