(June 8, 2023) – The countdown continues to one of the biggest events of the season for Friesen Performance IMCA Modifieds, the $10,000 to win Clash at the Creek XV at Wisconsin’s 141 Speedway. Qualifying starts Tuesday, June 13 with last-chance races and the main event Wednesday, June 14. The winner becomes eligible to qualify for the Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational. IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars race for $1,000 to win and B & B Racing Chassis All-Star Invitational eligibility and Friesen Performance IMCA Northern SportMods also run for $1,000 to win both nights. Zellner sets sails to $10,000 checkers at 141’s IMCA Captain of the Creek

FRANCIS CREEK, Wis. (Aug. 18, 2022) – The third time was the charm Thursday night for Jacob Zellner.  Making his career third start at 141 Speedway’s Captain of the Creek special for Friesen Performance IMCA Northern SportMods, the 2021 track champion finally got the best of Dylon Waldvogel late in the 50-lapper at Francis Creek. The $10,000 checkers marked a career-best payday for Zellner, who’d run 21st and 17th in his two previous Captain of the Creek outings. “Up to this point, we had nothing but bad luck in the big shows, so this was a big win for us, for sure,” he said. “It felt kind of surreal. FRANCIS CREEK, Wis. (July 19, 2022) – Winning the fifth annual King of the Creek special for IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars this week at 141 Speedway will pay $10,000. Knowing you finished at the front of a field filled with many of the best drivers in The Class Too Tough To Tame, and earned a guaranteed starting spot in the B & B Racing Chassis All-Star Invitational will be priceless.  Appleton Camping Center returns as presenting sponsor for the July 20 and 21 event at Francis Creek. Siefert named official winner of 141 Clash at the Creek

VINTON, Iowa (June 24, 2022) – Jared Siefert has been named the official winner of 141 Speedway’s Clash at the Creek special for Friesen Performance IMCA Modifieds.  Tire samples were taken from each of the top four finishers in the June 16 main event and the former IMCA Modified national champion was promoted to the top spot when the sample from the unofficial race winner’s tires did not comply with benchmarks for the IMCA Hoosier G-60. Siefert was eligible to qualify for the Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational prior to the $10,000 victory. Tire samples taken from Mike Mullen and Wyatt Black also complied with IMCA benchmarks.

14th Clash at the Creek brings IMCA Modifieds to 141 Speedway in pursuit of $10,000 payday

(June 6, 2022) – The 14th annual installment of the Clash at the Creek brings Friesen Performance IMCA Modifieds to 141 Speedway in the quest for a top $10,000 payday.  The Wednesday and Thursday, June 15 and 16 special at Francis Creek guarantees Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational qualifying eligibility to the winner while paying a minimum of $750 to start. Reimers sails to rich Captain of the Creek checkers

FRANCIS CREEK, Wis. (Aug. 19) – Cam Reimers sailed to the $10,000 checkers in the Captain of the Creek feature for IMCA Karl Kustoms Northern SportMods at 141 Speedway. Then he enjoyed some more Wisconsin hospitality, signing autographs and sampling barbeque in the pit area at Francis Creek along with several hundred new friends. The outside front row starter led all 50 laps of the Thursday night main event, keeping Jayden Schmidt in second most of the distance before holding hard charger Elijah Koenig at bay the last four times around the track. After back-to-back cautions on lap nine, Reimers and his closest challengers ran in traffic much of the night as the race stayed green to the checkers. “It’s awesome. LaCrosse repeats at 141 King of the Creek, IMCA Stock Car checkers good for $10,000

FRANCIS CREEK, Wis. (July 22) – He’s won a lot of big races, but the finish to Thursday’s King of the Creek 50-lap main event for IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars impressed even Benji LaCrosse. Whitman is a hit at 141’s IMCA Clash at the Creek

FRANCIS CREEK, Wis. (June 17) – The IMCA Modified driver they call ‘The Hitman’ was a big hit with his 141 Speedway fans Thursday night.  Johnny Whitman took the lead following a lap 10 restart and led Mike Mullen around the oval at Francis Creek the last 40 green flag, lightning fast times around the track in taking the $10,000 Clash at the Creek win.  “I’ve been wanting to do this for 13 years,” he said from victory lane. “It’s crazy, the amount of competition that’s here.
