Bald Tire Bash, Sport Compact Super Sunday August 14 at Benton County
VINTON, Iowa (Aug. 10, 2022) – There’s something for everyone this Sunday at Benton County Speedway. Due to last week’s postponed event, the August 14 racing program at The Bullring is going to be chock full of excitement as the season enters its final weeks. The Bald Tire Bash, paying $2,000 to the winner of the IMCA Sunoco Stock Car feature, will headline on-track action Sunday night. All competitors must use tires with a maximum tread depth of 5/32”. The Stock Car winner also earns B&B Racing Chassis All-Star Invitational qualifying eligibility. Sunday’s Stock Car feature pays $200 to start. There is no entry fee. Friesen Performance IMCA Modifieds will pay $1,000 to the winner and earn that driver Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational qualifying eligibility.
