Everett, Cassell, Wauge earn Fast Shafts All-Star eligibility

VINTON, Iowa (Aug. 31, 2022) – Three more Friesen Performance IMCA Modified drivers have raced their way to Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational qualifying eligibility. Dallas Everett prevailed at Central Arkansas Motor Speedway’s Johnny Wise Memorial. Craig Cassell topped Sunset Speedway’s Doug Walters Classic and Mark Wauge was the Saturday winner at Southern Oregon Speedway. Winners of qualifying events already eligible were Austen Becerra, Tom Berry Jr., Jerry Flippo, Bricen James, Austin Kiefer, Jake Nightingale, Collin Thirlby and Nick Trenchard. Remaining qualifying events include Marshalltown Speedway’s Sept. 2 Showdown at Motown, both nights of the Mighty Axe at North Central Speedway and the Labor Day Clash at Mohave Valley Raceway, the Saturday Prelude at Boone Speedway and East Moline’s Fallen Heroes show on Sunday. Two-time champ Ellithorpe back at Boone to chase first IMCA Super Nationals Stock Car crown

MAQUOKETA, Iowa (Aug. 31, 2022) – He already owns the distinction of being the only Sport Compact driver to win back-to-back championships at the IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s.  Jacob Ellithorpe will next be running for membership in one of the event’s most exclusive fraternities  when he returns to Boone Speedway for the 40th annual Super Nationals Sept. 5-10.  The 2012 and 2013 Sport Compact king at America’s Racin’ Vacation moved to the Northern SportMods before finding new success in the IMCA Sunoco Stock Car division. BOONE, Iowa (Aug. 30, 2022) – Saturday night champions crowned at the 40th annual IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s will go home with even bigger paychecks courtesy of IMCA.TV.  On the heels of a $15,550 boost last September, the official broadcast partner of IMCA and Super Nationals adds another $25,500 to bonuses paid to Modified, Stock Car, Northern SportMod and Hobby Stock drivers at the upcoming Super Nationals Sept. 5-10 at Boone Speedway. The Modified champion will earn $10,000, with $7,500 paid to win the Stock Car main, $5,000 to win the Northern SportMod main and $3,000 to win the Hobby Stock main. Boone tunes up for Prelude, Super Nationals

By Joyce Eisele BOONE, Iowa (Aug. 27, 2022) – The forecasters had been calling for a high probability of rain in the area for days but Saturday night, Boone Speedway had just a few sprinkles. The Tune Up for the Super Nationals, the P1 Promotions Modified Challenge and the D & E Outside Services Watermelon Classic were all completed before 9 p.m. All heat and feature winners also raced for the well-known watermelon. The eighth annual P1P Challenge race for Friesen Performance OMCA Modifieds saw the drivers qualify through time trials and heat races. The top 12 then raced 15 laps for $1,000 and a unique trophy Johnathon Logue grabbed the lead from the outside front row as the race went green. Logue was content to let some heavy hitters duke it out behind him as Tom Berry Jr., Bricen James and Richie Gustin sliced and diced for position. Corn looks to continue California success at IMCA Super Nationals

MERCED, Calif. (Aug. 29, 2022) – California drivers have enjoyed their share of success and then some at recent IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s.  Fourth generation and third-year IMCA Sunoco Stock Car driver Garrett Corn travels to Boone in September, looking to be the next Golden State speedster to do so in the state where corn is king.
