Deery Series headlines opening night at IMCA Super Nationals 

BOONE, Iowa – The first champion of the 36th annual IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s will be crowned when the Deery Brothers Summer Series headlines the Labor Day show at Boone Speedway. Touring IMCA Late Models race for as much as $3,500 to win and a minimum of $300 to start their Monday, Sept. 3 main event. The winner earns $2,000 plus a bonus of up to $1,500 based on their number of sanctioned starts going into the weekend. Pit gates open at 9 a.m. and racing starts at 2 p.m. Grandstand admission is $20 and pit passes are $30. Beckendorf, Sample complete Fast Shafts All-Star field

BOONE, Iowa – Brandon Beckendorf and Cory Sample will complete the starting field for the Sept. 7 Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational. Beckendorf and Sample are the top two drivers in both national points and in 40-point feature wins among All-Star drivers not elected in either of two rounds of voting who will compete at the Sept. 3-8 IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s. Beckendorf, from Danube, Minn., is a first-time All-Star. Sample is from Winnemucca, Nev., and will make his career fifth All-Star start. Scott Hogan has been added in place of Ricky Thornton Jr., who will be unable to attend Super Nationals. Hogan, from Vinton, had the next highest vote total for drivers representing the North Central Region and will make his fourth All-Star start. He was runner-up in the 2005 race.

Top drivers in four divisions featured in races of champions at Super Nationals

BOONE, Iowa – One of the premier races for IMCA Modifieds marks a milestone during the upcoming IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s. The 30th annual Harris Auto Racing Race of Champions will feature a dozen drivers battling for $1,000 to win and a career-type highlight on Saturday, Sept. 8 at Boone Speedway. Also on the championship day card are the 17th annual Sunoco Face Fuels Race of Champions for Stock Cars and ninth annual BSB Manufacturing Race of Champions for Northern SportMods and Stephenville Starter Race of Champions for Hobby Stocks. Shares of nearly $300,000 will be paid out to drivers competing at the upcoming IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s. Duffers golf tourney benefits Shop With a Cop

BOONE, Iowa – When they tee it up for the 29th annual Duffers National Tournament at Cedar Pointe Golf Course, golfers in town for the IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s will help support the local Shop With A Cop. Tee time is 8:30 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 7 for the four-person best shot tournament. Cost is $40 per person, which includes nine holes of golf, a golf cart and lunch, and entries will be taken right up until tee time. Each team is required to have at least one registered Super Nationals driver, IMCA official or Boone Speedway official. The winning foursome earns $200 with $100 paid to the second place team. Remaining proceeds again go to Shop With A Cop, which sees youngsters accompanied local law enforcement officers to pick out Christmas presents at Wal-Mart. Super Nationals nears record with entries from 26 states 

BOONE, Iowa – The number of drivers already entered for the Sept. 3-8 IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s is impressive. So are all the states they’re coming to Boone Speedway from, to be part of America’s Racin’ Vacation. “Our pre-registration numbers are over 500 and running ahead of last year.
