First Off Road Speedway win for Missouri racer

(June 16) – Taylor Caldwell made the most of a visit to his hometown of Stanton this past weekend, returning to his racing roots long enough to win the Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMod feature at Off Road Speedway, in a borrowed car. “I got out of racing for about nine years until this year and John Dunklau was nice enough to let me run his SportMod this season to get back in to it,’ said Caldwell, who lives and works in Liberty, Mo. “I was fortunate enough tonight to put it in the winner’s circle.” Caldwell took advantage of his starting position on the outside of the front row and took control of the race early on, winning handily ahead of Jeremy and Joey Haase. Bittner bests IMCA Stock Car field at Off Road

(June 9) – After 10 years and much success racing an IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stock, Tiffany Bittner is competing in the IMCA Sunoco Stock Car division for a second season and starting to find similar success. Last year Bittner won one feature while finishing with “a ton of top five finishes” in a division she describes as “a very popular class right now … I feel like everybody is moving up to the Stock Cars.” On Saturday night at Off Road Speedway, Bittner won her first feature of the young 2018 season. Avoiding much of the early race chaos, Bittner remained positioned among the six cars competing for the lead. (June 2) – Ramsey Meyer made up ground from a starting position four rows back, then established a commanding lead in extending his Mach-1 Sport Compact win streak at Off Road Speedway to four straight Saturday night. Shannon Pospisil and Tanner Uehling finished second and third, respectively. In the IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stock feature, Cameron Wilkinson also added to a consecutive-win streak – his third win in a row – but in much closer fashion, holding off Jeremy Hoskinson by a matter of inches at the finish line after taking the lead from Hoskinson with just two laps remaining. Ryan Fajman finished third, his first top five finish of the season at Norfolk. Wilkinsons win two at Off Road

(May 26) – Cameron Wilkinson won his second straight IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stock race Saturday at Off Road Speedway, after squeezing through the six cars aligned ahead of him to take the lead within two laps. He remained there during the caution-free 15-lap event to win handily. Jeremy Hoskinson and Gage Koch finished second and third, respectively. Cameron’s father Jason followed suit with a win in the IMCA Sunoco Stock Car feature. Wilkinson went to the front by going low in turn three and four with 11 of 15 laps remaining and cruised to victory ahead of Chad Bruns. Kyle Wilkinson won the duel with Tanner Pettitt for third, edging Pettitt at the finish line by just over a car length. In the Mach-1 Sport Compact feature, Ramsey Meyer remained undefeated at Off Road Speedway this season with his third consecutive victory.

Off Road Speedway’s 2018 season off and running

(April 28) – With a large crowd on hand, the 2018 season at Off Road Speedway began Saturday night. “We’ve got 84 cars here tonight, which is an increase from last year, and a great crowd for the first night,” promoter Jerry Pospisil said. “The track is really good, it’s slick, and that’s what we like. We’re real excited about the year, especially if we can keep the car count up around 80–that’s the best in the business around here.” With an increased purse this season for classes that consist of 20 cars or more, Pospisil noted that two of Saturday night’s classes, the IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars and IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks, already met that criteria on opening night. Mallicoat Outduels Grabouski in Modified Photo Finish At Eagle

(Apr. 18, 2025) — The 2025 first night of the Ice Breaker Challenge kicked off in spectacular fashion at Eagle Raceway, and the Friesen Performance IMCA Modified main event delivered one of the closest finishes the track has seen in recent memory, as Izac Mallicoat battled to the very last corner with his chassis builder, Jordan Grabouski. Jaxon Saathoff led the initial circuit but would soon be doing battle with Mallicoat. Mallicoat took over the top spot from Saathoff on lap 3 but Grabouski continued to march his way to the front on lap 12, moving to second and then taking the lead from Mallicoat two laps later. Gottschalk Wins Modified Opener At WaKeeney

(Apr. 18, 2025) — Daniel Gottschalk made the most of his 2025 debut, outdueling Greg Gustus in a spirited Friesen Performance IMCA Modified feature Friday night at WaKeeney Speedway to earn his first score of the year in the Jet Racing Central Region. The race started off with a front row of Greg Gustus and Gottschalk, who battled closely throughout the feature, as each took turns leading at different points. Late in the race, Gottschalk solidified the lead and ran away from Gustus en route to the victoyu. Second was Gustus, while third was Clay Money.
