Fantastic forecast for Southern Oklahoma Speedway’s March 7-9 Stampede
ARDMORE, Okla. – The new race season starts this week at Southern Oklahoma Speedway, with a great weather forecast for the March 7-9 Southern Stampede, High temperatures accompanying the Stampede will range from the mid-60’s to low 70s, making for a promising start to the year for IMCA Modified, Smiley’s Racing Products Southern SportMod and IMCA Sunoco Stock Car drivers traveling to Ardmore. “This is an excellent opportunity for a lot of drivers in all three divisions to start their season at a first-class facility and at what has quickly become one of the premier events of the year,” IMCA Vice President of Operations Jim Stannard noted. “I’m looking forward to three outstanding nights of racing.” Modifieds get top billing in Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot qualifying events all three nights, running for $2,000 to win on Thursday, $1,000 to win on Friday and $3,000 to win on Saturday at Ardmore.
